She was relatively new to the area last year when I went for my first visit. I liked her, but I reserved final judgement until I found out if she would order annual lab tests ahead of my annual physical so we could go over the results at the physical. Both she and her office staff turned out to be capable of doing this (something I took for granted with my previous doctor of many years, but which some offices refuse to do.) She also checked on and rounded up records from colonoscopies and mammograms so she has a complete picture of my health. I had almost given up and decided my standards were ridiculously high and old fashioned. Not so. Dr. Vang and her staff are both competent and kind.

Shar was very thorough in the examination, gave clear instructions, explained follow up steps and after we left called back with some additional information. She will try to make you feel stupid by asking you if you even know what parts of basic anatomy is. One of the few times my child was seen by Dr Ryan we needed an MRI of the spine to scan for a possible tumor of the spine because "my child has Neurofibromas" and instead of imaging the entire spine she decided the only test she needed was imaging of the lumbar. When I argued she needed at least the entire bottom half she got mad left the room and didn't come back for another 35 mins only because I asked for the office manage because I was so furious on how we were treated. We went to the neurologist a week later and the Dr was like why did Dr Ryan only test one piece of the spine, she needs the whole thing done and reordered the full MRI. Needless to say if you are looking to take you child to a Dr who is rude and does not care to make sure your child gets the medical care they need this is the place you should go..

His office manager...totally different story. His other office staff is great. Dr. Neret's N.P. is also very caring. I will admit I have and unfortunately may consider leaving Dr. Neret, but that is due to his office manager. NOT because of Dr. Neret. I have been his patient for about 4 years and truly do trust and believe in him. My husband is a patient and both my parents were patients of his. Too bad he can't be cloned, that would be awesome! Honestly , Doc just needs a new office manager.
