Friends grow here…read more We love this place. My birthday is April 4th and every year my sweet hubby takes me to Browns to go nuts buying whatever I want. I enjoy this spree so much. We are anyways greeted so genuinely and they even abuse my husband for me while I secret shop. I go several times during the year as well and always have an ample choice of beautiful plants and flowers. They are healthy and last and are not overpriced. I get great advice and suggestions of plants to pair. I could buy plants at a number of other places nearby but I will drive right past them to shop at Brown's!

While in Tennesse I had to visit a Christmas Tree Farm instead... Because local is better of course. Want to buy a pre-cut tree? Alright. Want to buy a tree and cut it down yourself? Even better! Christmas Trees are very reasonably priced. Of course it wouldn't be a Tree Farm without the nicknacks. They sell tree stands, candles and other little items to please your shopping experience. I bought my Tree after Thanksgiving Day and to this day (January 9th), the tree is still with full pines and standing up straight. Not taking this tree down until it comes down by itself. The only issue I did have was with my Chase credit card (Visa), for some reason the 'Square' dongle didn't want to accept it although it accepted a Mastercard.

On Black Friday 2025, I purchased a garage door opener From your Maryville Tennessee Home Depot. We…read morealso requested it be installed. Not having heard anything from Home Depot or the installer, I called Caleb four days later. Caleb assured me he would contact the installer. Three or four days later I called back. Caleb said he was giving the issue to McKenna. Several days latter McKenna assured me she would get back to me within a few days and would contact the installer. Days later I heard nothing back from her or the installer. On the 30th of December, 32 days latter I received call from a garage door company in Knoxville, who told me they would have a $150 up charge because of the distance to travel in addition to the regular installation charge. However, they told me that they believed the charges were being taken care of by Home Depot. I thought at least Home Depot is doing the right thing, even though they didn't bother to call and inform me. Rather than to assume this was correct, I drove the 50 mile round trip back to the Maryville. TN. Home Depot and talked to Caleb. He was very arrogant and dismissive. He said the only thing he could do would be to dismiss the companies travel charges. This, after waiting thirty two days to get a garage door opener installed!?! I asked to speak to the store manager. I explained the situation to Jeff. I also mentioned that given this bad experience, I was going to write a letter to the CEO and post a negative Google review. Jeff put his hands up and said, I don't care what you do. I don't care if you write a review or not. He then proceeded to do the right thing and dismiss the charges. If Jeff would simply have said, you are right, we are sorry for this inexcusable experience. We will addresss what happened and train our employees to take ownership, to follow-up in a timely manner. If this would have been Jeff's response, I would have been happy. Instead Jeff told me in no uncertain terms, he could care less. Effectively Jeff is saying I don't give a s*** about your negative experience! As a veteran, I have been a fan of Home Depot for many decades. Never have you been so dismissive, unempathetic and arrogant in terms of addressing an issue. We have spent a lot of money with Home Depot over the years and we were about to purchase kitchen granite tops, counter backsplash, etc. from you. From here on in, we will find a more customer oriented, customer responsive company to deal with for all future purchases. Cearly not that Jeff cares and more than likely, not that today's Home Depot's management team cares, but this is the review I will send to your CEO and post to google reviews, Home Depot review as well as other social media outlets.

I opted for the steak sandwich on an everything bagel and it was delicious! My father was also very impressed with the pastrami Ruben on pumpernickel. I also highly recommend grabbing some custom bagel spread from the cooler and a portion of your favorite babka (I vote for chocolate) to take home!

The bagels are light and chewy, not bready, and even the plain bagel has a great flavor. We find the celery salt and sometimes the everything bagels to be saltier than we enjoy, but your mileage may vary. The sesame, plain, jalapeño cheddar, pumpernickel, and honey wheat are awesome. The seasonal pumpkin bagel was excellent, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get blueberry once they're in season. If you get a bagel sandwich, I'd recommend sticking with a plain bagel to let the filling shine. We usually get the Potchke delight (add avocado, it's worth it), and my husband loves the beef bacon. They have upgraded from egg patties to small folded omelettes in their breakfast sandwiches. They just rolled out mobile ordering at this location, and I did my first order today. Fridays are always very busy there, but my order was ready way before the time estimate, and they made my coffee fresh once I checked in with the lady at the pickup area. I was very impressed! They have been really good about making changes to improve wait times (like adding a second person taking orders with a handheld card reader and expanding next door to allow a designated line area), and mobile ordering is a game changer for me. The employees are always wonderful even though they are super busy and dealing with a lot of people. Everyone seems happy to be there, and I hope that's a reflection of the owners treating their people well. Yes, the prices may seem high for bagels, but in my opinion it's totally worth it. I'd rather have a stellar bagel once a month than grocery store bagels every week. (Now if only they would also serve their matzo ball soup and borscht at this location, my life would be complete!)
