We are lead by a strong leadership team of men and women dedicated to lead people to Jesus! Our lead Pastor is Christian Newsome who is bright, energetic and filled with the love of Jesus! His sermons are always from the word of God and incorporate the Gospel in a meaningful way. Our youth program from age One thru High school and College is exceptional! Kids camp every June has over 500 kids! Our student life program is in the hundreds as well! They come because they get fed with Jesus filled leaders who love and care for all these young people! Just walk in our doors on Sunday morning and see how you are made to feel...welcomed and loved! My wife and I got baptized with immersion in January, we're in our late 70's and we are on fire for a revival in our lives, all because of JCI!

I was glad to see the cafe open. The message was great and I didn't feel like I missed anything from not being there on Sunday. It is a great option. For those that have wanted to try abundant life, but think I is SOOOO big, I recommend you try Thursday service! I may see you there.

Once I arrived the welcome I received was beautiful and amazing. I already felt like part of a family and its been like that ever since. I knew then I found my church home. Its been 9mo. I love the series the Pastor does, once you hear a piece of the series your hungry to come back to hear more. We now have 2 locations North & South. Come check it out you'll be glad you did. I went to SPC for the first time for Easter a few weeks ago. The worship is very contemporary…read more(super loud music, fog machines, and concert lights). Something that impressed me at this church was the technology. Sounds weird I know, but you'll notice it when you go. During the worship and sermon, they have two big projection screens of the stage and add info/scriptures below it. They also had a video trailer of upcoming sermon series and church announcements. They give you an option of texting a certain number if you are new. Very fancy! The church lobby is pretty small, but has an open floor plan so you can see where the welcome booth and kids section is. At one point I felt like in an Apple store, they have people behind booths with a lot of computers open facing outward so you can check out their website. I'm tellin ya... fancy tech people at SPC! The main thing that made me go back to SPC for a second week was the pastor. He's legit! By legit, I mean, he's honest and real. From the few times I've heard him speak he's been funny, to the point and personable. Not a hellfire and damnation kind of preacher but also not just a love and fluff kind of preacher. I haven't made any personal connections with people there yet. I've said a few words to people at welcome booths but that's about it. Word of warning when you go: you don't pick your seat in the auditorium, they do. For me, that was a bit of a bother because I'm a back row baptist and my first time there they had me on the second row!!! However, it has its advantages. There's nothing worse than stepping into a sanctuary and feeling like you're back in a middle school cafeteria looking for someone to sit by.

From those who have little to those who much, those who are struggling to those who have struggled in the past and those who may struggle in the future. It is full of people, growing together, loving each other well, and in the 4 years we have been there, we have been able to grow our relationship with Christ and knowledge in the Bible so much deeper through small groups offered (soooo many available) outreach programs, serving opportunities, and through going deep in the Word, not just the fluff, on Sundays with Pastor Matt with it being obvious it is through the Holy Spirit guiding him through the Bible. (As so so often the message ends up speaking right to what I needed to hear or what I was reading on through the week, or he ends up speaking deeper on verses I was actually reading!!!!) I absolutely love how much they do with the children although mine are grown. It is nice to see so many younger ones. It is like all generations are in this place. It isn't rushed to get in and out and plenty of time in between to visit if you want to sit and have coffee. 5+ stars if you are looking.

My husband and I and our 4 kids (4-14) love it here. This church is perfect if you want a place to…read morecome in quietly, worship in a contemporary manner, and learn something from the Bible in a relevant way. There aren't any people at the door trying to find out every detail of your life. There is no condemnation. It's church, the way it should be. Praise God and learn about Jesus. This is the church for you if you have young children or teens who don't do well in a stuffy, formal church. You really can come here in your jeans. That's not what matters. A truly relevant God meets the people here and we don't ever feel stressed about getting ready for church. This is a growing church with a family friendly atmosphere. Do get to service early for good parking and to check your kids into Sunday School. The sanctuary is upstairs and is full of chairs. A contemporary praise band replaces the traditional choir. There is a fantastic coffee shop inside that is great before or after service. We have been attending since last winter and we love it!
