We inquired with multiple other pool installers on our situation. The professional consensus was that everything we had was damaged & in need of starting over from scratch. He noticed that we had hail damage on our roof and siding. We explained that a previous contractor said the same thing but our insurance company denied the claim. He offered to be present when the insurance adjuster performed their assessment and, four days later, we received word that the insurance company was now going to replace the entire roof and all of the siding. Cody offered recommendations on shingle products and set up a time for us to visit the building supplier so we could review our options. His quote for the roof didn't require us to pay anything out of pocket and his roofing crew did an excellent job cleaning up the job site during and after each day's work. His crew completed our large roof in two days and Cody came out personally each day and at the end to walk the job site, pick up debris, and address a few minor concerns. Location: Rock Island…read more Pat came out last fall (2025) and provided an estimated on a 40 foot long gutter on a split level, which has a long roof line. Estimate included addressing the facia and optional leaf guard which I accepted to install. Pat indicated he works in the winter if above 20 degrees Fahrenheit. As December was full of snow, I expected early spring. Pat showed up Feb 5 (2026)! Pat got to work and immediately ran into a mess. Instead of one day, it took two. I estimated worst case with Pat's estimate. I knew it would be more, but much less than expected. Most important, Pat pointed out the issues and how he would address them. (roof edge slightly short but could compensate; facia not flush, but beveled so beveled spacers to attach the gutter so it would be square to the roof). I wasn't surprised Pat found problems, but shocked at the outcome. Unbelievable how well it looks. Quality work. Still waiting for that first rain to see it perform! Pat even told me: your house leans a little downhill to the north (gutter on the front east side of the house). The water needed to run south. Unless are look closely, you can't see all they did to fix the facia and even one roof joist. Hands down. You want the gutter put on right, ESPECIALLY when hidden issues are discovered? Call Pat West Gutter. He's probably seen it all with his roughly 40 years in the business. Worth every penny to have it down right the first time. I recommend Pat West Gutter without hesitation.
