And honestly, every time I've come here, it still feels like I don't have enough time to make it through each section and floor of the market to properly see and enjoy everything. So I'll just have to keep coming back to explore more haha. One of my favorite discoveries has been how dog-friendly so many of the businesses were. A few of the vendors even offered my dog a treat, which was the nicest thing ever! Getting to try samples like apple cider, different types of vinaigrettes to dip your bread into, and beef jerky is always a win, and such a fun way to find new favorites!! Plus, there are plenty of great views and fun sights throughout the market if you're open to wandering around the different levels. Just a heads-up: it definitely gets crowded, especially on weekends!!

Getting to Pike Place is super easy on public transit from the airport - it's direct there and under an hour away. Very user-friendly. The market itself can be explored in a couple of hours. I didn't get to see the famous "fish throwing" unfortunately but I did get to check out a number of stores. Places are very generous with samples. I tried bread with a few different balsamic vinegars and oils, salmon, truffle spreads and salt, and apple juice. The area around the market is very walkable and felt safe and clean. Prices are reasonable and it's easy to pick up souvenirs for friends. There are a wide variety of sundries available and most shops had airplane-friendly packaging. Also nearby is the famous gum wall (disgusting!) and the original Starbucks. Restrooms are plentiful although I found them to be a little unsavory in terms of cleanliness. The stall doors were also weirdly short? I'm a modest 5'3" and I found myself towering over them. Worth a stop if you're in the area. Very fun vibes.

I came here to watch an innovative concert and the acoustics and overall experience made for a feast for the senses. The lighting work made for a truly ethereal moment but the permanent hardware is a sight to behold - tanks and pipes and valves galor. Reading the other reviews, I would love to come check out a tour and understand its history more, but it was a huge privilege being able to take in and enjoy the space for a few hours.

It's open to the public the 2nd Saturday of the month for limited hours and they offer two-one hour tours during this time. The entrance to the parking lot is a little hidden, but follow the signs and drive into the gate, there's quite a bit of space. There's porta potties on site near the parking lot. If you want to go to the 2nd floor you will have to climb some stairs, but those with mobility issues may still enjoy just taking a look from the bottom floor, there was a ramp to one of the entrances of the building. Other floors are closed to the public, but hopefully this will change one day. There is some stuff to look at if you come and just read the indoor signs, but I think the tour really pulls it all together. The person who lead our tour seemed like she put a lot of energy into her presentation and enjoyed volunteering there. I had no idea this place even existed and found the history really interesting and this is not a subject I am overly excited by. Its cool that this historic building has been saved, they are currently working on a plan to develop it further into a STEM center and they appreciate donations towards this cause. I believe it's also part of the Georgetown Haunted tour, which may be a reason to stop by on it's own. I hope to come back in a few years and see how they have developed it and check out the other floors. I'd love to see the historic bathroom.

Chef Tracy is an absolute rockstar. She kicked off the day with a walking tour of Pike Place Market, weaving in local history while introducing us to some of the best vendors and food artisans in the city. Thanks to her incredible connections, we got to sample fresh bites and meet the people behind the food. And just when we thought it couldn't get better--she got me in to catch a fish. Yes, a real fish thrown at me in the middle of the market with a crowd watching. Talk about pressure--but I caught it! We brought all the ingredients back to Atrium Kitchen, rolled up our sleeves, and cooked an incredible meal together. The vibe was relaxed but energized--everyone was hands-on and having an absolute blast. Dinner was next‑level. We had a private dinner inside Pike Place Market after hours--total bucket‑list vibes. As a vegan, I was blown away by the care Chef Tracy took with my meal. She prepared this salad, elegant broccolini-chimichurri (actually something fancier than plain broccoli) and perfectly roasted potatoes--they were even better than most vegan meals I've had at restaurants. The rest of the team raved about the halibut, ribs, and other dishes that looked absolutely amazing. If you're visiting Seattle--or even if you live here--Atrium Kitchen at Pike Place Market is a MUST-DO. It's perfect for team outings, special celebrations, or just doing something different and utterly memorable. Chef Tracy makes you feel like a VIP from start to finish. Absolutely 10/10!
