Prices were out of my range but I expected that for the location. The teenage girls behind the counter seemed more into their conversation than anything else.

I made a little detour here on the way to my cousin's house for a play date with our kids. I love the fact that they have 15 minute parking for quick stops and as I was pulling up to The French Workshop, someone was pulling out of one of those spots and I slid right in. As I was getting my tot out of her carseat, I noticed this hot pink number hanging in the window of this really cute boutique and I decided to take a closer look. The dress was the exact same color as a dress that I bought for my daughter and I thought it deserved a closer looks because I love wearing twinning ensembles with babes. When I walked in, I had to avert my eyes from all of the cute outfits they had. The place is filled with tons of outfits and accessories, perfect for any occasion. I finally found the dress, grabbed two sizes and asked for a fitting room. One of the girls quickly assisted me and led me to one of their quite large fitting rooms. Even the fitting room is cute with a big, tufted bench. I had babes sit while I tried on the smaller of teh two sizes and luckily it fit perfectly. The dress is very forgiving, as it has many strings to adjust the fit and since I'm planning on losing some L Bs, I decided to purchase the small. When it was time for checkout, the staff was very nice. They complimented my tiny tot's sunglasses and commented that she was adorbs (which she loves). I bought a couple of cute rings they had at the counter and signed up for their loyalty program which will hopefully force me to make a return visit. The prices are standard for boutique pricing. These are pieces that you will not likely see another person wearing at an event which is nice to know. I was meant to park in front of this shop. When I brought the dress home, the shade of pink matched perfectly with my daughter's dress and the style is very similar so it will look as thought we might have boguth our dresses together. When we have an occasion to wear them, I will definitely post the picture.

They have 2 smaller buildings with accessories and shoes, and a large 2 story building filled with clothes. The selection is amazing. Casual to dressy clothes in many, many styles in so many different fabrics. They had so many beautiful winter items on sale but I was concentrating on spring. The salesperson Sheila, was very helpful and made called another store to see if they had a certain jacket in my size. The prices are so reasonable and the quality on most of the pieces I looked at was great.

We found her dress in under an hour, I was ready to be for awhile or have to go somewhere else. I want to put that disclaimer out there. During my recent visit, I did see some dresses in the rack that had some rips. Really visible ones and it was shocking. They were on a sale rack but they were visibly and terribly damaged. When we were in the store, no one greeted us or asked us if we needed assistance. I felt a little bothered by this as it did not seem on brand. We were in the store for about an hour and 15 minutes most recently. It may have been that it was about an hour before closing. When the location was closing, the person was very kind on the intercom and it was so nice. I remember being in Saks 5th Avenue a couple of years ago and they were yelling at customers to get out. The kind goodbye without feeling rushed felt like nice hospitality that would make one want to return to shop. Please note this location is on the second floor and an escalator or elevator is offered to arrive on the second level.

There's five private try on rooms along with a fairly comfortable open area with mirror to try jackets etc. Wait for service can be long. Usually only two, sometimes three, saleswomen on hand. They do try to give very attentive personal service, but the difficulty is when the store is crowded and each one is wrapped up with personally attending one customer, the rest of us kind of wander around feeling unimportant. Sometimes you don't even get a "Welcome to Chico's" when you walk in. In my first few visits I was under the impression you had to wait for one of the staff to officially assign you a try on room, but later on I would just hop right into an open one if I needed to without asking anyone's permission. They tend to be on the slow side at checkout time too. Let's face it, many of the customers in here do not have their eye on the clock to make sure they get back to work on time; in fact they probably don't even have the concept of what a lunch hour means. The younger girl who works there is pretty helpful and is better at multi-tasking (multi-customering?) than the rest of the crew. You can also return things here that were bought online. Overall, worth a stop in from time to time at least to scope out those sale racks.

Cute stuff but not anything out of this world you can't just buy direct from the brand online. While I didn't buy anything on my inaugural trip to the store, I did see a lot of things I liked. I'll be back een if it is to go with friends and sit in the cozy dressing room. One a small note, it was hard to tell the shoppers from the employees, so I didn't know who to apporach for help and no one approached me before they watched me awkwardly pace in front of the dressing rooms trying to figure out if I just go in or have to let someone know.
