Our family has been enjoying Log Cabin Resort for over 40 years. We typically see deer, beaver,…read moreeagles, hawks, occasionally bears, and this last summer a woodchuck. The lakes also have turtles, geese, Canadian Loons, an occasional moose, racoons, and more. Fishing never disappoints and it is always best to check in with the staff to see what gear and times are best. The setting is very peaceful and we always hate to leave. I have been to this resort every single season of the year, and every single season has something to offer. The wild life are amazing. The owner goes above and beyond to make her guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. I was especially impressed with what this resort had to offer. There is something for everyone: vacation rentals, RV parking, and campsites. The best part was that I was able to bring my horses. There was an outdoor arena, trails, and much more. I never had to worry about anything. She was the expert on site when I had an issue with my horse. It was real simple and we got it figured out. I highly recommend coming to DreamSwept Mountain Resort! I will be back this summer!

Awesome staff here. The cabin was clean and well appointed. It had a grill and fire pit outside, with parking for one car. Inside, has everything you need, and all appliances and fans functional. Nice thick curtains for privacy, or you can pull curtains back and open windows. The cabin had units for heat/AC but we did not need. Coffee pot but no filters, however, the store had everything we needed. The off-season price was perfect but not sure I'd stay during higher summer rates, considering you have to bring your own bedding and make beds etc... Overall, lovely stay!

My husband and I moved to the Spokane area earlier this year, so we have been excited to get to…read moreknow the surrounding areas. Coeur d' Alene has been on my list as everyone says how great it is. So, a friend flew to visit over the summer and we spent 2 nights at the resort in their North Wing room. Then another friend came to visit this month, so we returned (with a much better experience). Arrival: Both visits were easy and we self parked. Be aware that there is an elevator from the parking garage to the resort and it is not the same one that will bring you to your room. Easy if you don't have a lot of stuff, but one visit I brought my dog and I could have used a luggage cart. So unload up front and then go park. Check in: Very quick. No wait. On the 2nd stay we were allowed to check in early which was nice. Rooms: North Wing- yikes. It does say on the site it is for the "value minded traveler." It shows. Summer is expensive there and since we were going to be outside the majority of the time it wasn't horrible. However, the room is much like a motel with the window facing a walkway. Ours was right next to the elevator. ugh. The inside was just okay. As others have mentioned, it could use updating. My second stay we stayed in the Lake Tower Room with double beds and fireplace and balcony. It was lovely. Nice room, beds comfortable, but the best was the view. Housekeeping: Unfortunately, both stays no one came to service the room. The Lake Tower even had a button to push when you want it serviced. We were out of the room by late morning and had the button turned on. Oh well. When I called, they did offer to service the room but we were tired and wanted to relax. One minor thing is that there is quite the push for tipping. I believe it came in an email and text. Just thought it was tacky. I've never seen that done before. Amenities: Visited the outdoor Blu pool during the summer. It was busy. My friend and I found an area that was "adults only" (not near the pool) and enjoyed the lake more than the kids in the pool crowd. Restaurants: Dined at Beverly's and Dockside. I will write separate reviews for them. All positive and will be back. The pre fixe dinner (early bird) was a great deal at Beverly's! ***Only policy I would suggest a change on is their charge for pet fee. It's one of the highest I've paid (and I've stayed at 5 star resorts) There is a DAILY $75 fee (someone said they cap at $150). I understand a fee is necessary, but I think that is a bit over the top. Our pup is crated (and prefers it) so does not require that deep level of clean other dogs might need. It might be better to have a standard reasonable fee and then charge the owner if the animal's stay requires additional cleaning.

Oh my friends this is a hard review!…read more Let break it down! Check in was poorly executed. Check in is as 4pm. We arrived at 3pm. The resort was EMPTY! We asked to check in early and were told it is $50 per 1/2 hour to check in early. We waited. The receptionist left to "pick up her child" .... She didn't come back!!!! At 5pm we had to track down a maintenance man to let us in. Since we were off season and the only occupants of the entire resort everything was closed. Villa Number one: They were worn down! The couch was broken. The chair was lop sided - broken and torn. Our shower leaked and the water came thru the ceiling and leaked into the downstairs so they had to move us. Villa number two: filthy. Animal hair everywhere. The walls were patched and had mix matched paint. Not an accent wall - but each wall had patched paint work that didn't match. Window blinded broken and missing. TV was broken. The bathroom had mold. Mooring. Again we were the only occupants. We had to tag the boat showing we paid for moorage. All rentals for kayaks and paddle boats were closed. And they gave us the slot in the middle and reminded us not to move the boat into a different slip. Really?? We are literally the ONLY people here. So that's the big - bad & ugly. Now let's to do the lake! Sooo much fun! Water was too cold for me and I am sure during regular season it would be a blast to play in. I enjoyed the fishing and sunbathing.

We just got bank from our Annual Ladies Labor Day camping trip! We are VERY DISAPPOINTED…read more... We got there a little late and the young boy running the check in was what looked like overwhelmed for better words! We were tired and just wanted to get our tents up! The so called Karaoke was the most horrible thing ever!!! And really late into the night not too great when you have kids! Then we were told that no pets in the section we were camping in ok no problem! Then we noticed while trying to sleep and dogs were barking everywhere near us that was not what we were told! The grounds are pretty UNKEPT! The kids didn't have much to do at this RESORT! Everything is spread out and not kept up like miniature golf! They claim they have a children's playground no they have nothing close to a playground! One morning we woke up to some folks running into an embankment and no remedy by the time we left that was not ok with kids around!!! Now let's get into the cleanliness! JUST NASTY! Bathrooms were NEVER CLEAN SHOWERS HAD SOMEONES UNDERWEAR IN THE SHOWER HAIR EVERYWHERE SINKS JUST DISGUSTING GARBAGE NOT TAKEN OUT! They have no running water by any of the campsites! Although they have sprinklers everywhere! Not too convenient for camping! The website states that they have game room well air hockey that couldn't be played or anything else because this whole resort had no CHANGE!! Not the front desk not the store not the bar! Wow! But you advertise all these "Amenities " yeah no!! Kid friendly NOT! Pretty unkept grounds as well! Some fire pits had grates to cook on while most had none! What do folks have to do to get one of those?? Hmmmm??? Had a great time on the lake though! We sadly WILL NOT BE RETURNING EVER! We have done this trip in years past but will not be coming back!

Was given a villa w/view of vineyards. So clean so comfortable. But let's talk about the breakfast. Omg the potatoes to die for. Not sure how they were cooked but they made our breakfast taste so fresh and tender vs my last Hyatt visit. I just can't believe people are giving this place low ratings. Just got back from a week at Sun Lakes Park Resort. So nice! Spacious sites for our camping…read moretrailer, perfectly groomed lawns, clean bathrooms and so much to do. Our friends stayed in a cabin so we were able to check that out too. While it wasn't the Ritz it was clean, spacious and comfortable. The resort is close to activities, food and sites. We were a little early in the season for some of the Resort's concessions but we still had access to the store and gift-shop. The day before left the grill opened and we had excellent burgers for lunch. What a great week!

There was a live bat in our bathroom when we arrived. The door took 5 minutes each time to unlock its handle was so old. The bed was as hard as the floor.
