I am very surprised that I am the first person to review this beach, given it popularity. This beach is located on the Island's West end, near where the cruise ships dock. It is not a very big beach, but has a lot of activities. They have umbrella and chair rentals, a sand volleyball court, jet ski rentals, snorkeling and diving. The beach has very limited shade and is wide open, so renting an umbrella is a must. You may also want to consider bringing some water with you.
There is no designated parking for the beach. You have to find a spot on the side of the road to park. It may be difficult to find a spot during busy times. This is a beautiful beach with white sand, and warm blue water. You will find a restaurant and dive shop, West End Water Sports, right here too. This beach is one of the Island's main and most popular beaches. It sees a bunch of locals, tourist, and cruise ships passengers. You could easily spend a half to a full day there.
There is not a restroom facility at this beach, but there are port-a-potties available. The beach is host to the annual St Croix Reef Jam. All in all, this is one of two decent beaches on this strip. You can also drive directly up to some of the waterfront areas approaching the beach and make your own little private beach, if you so choose. I like this beach. It has a lot of fun activities to partake in and has a chill vibe as well. It is definitely worth checking out. read more
