We had an incredible time on our 2 hour ATV rainforest tour! Easy check in when we arrived and debriefed on safety instructions before we headed out to the ATVs. We were provided time to get acclimated with the ATV before heading out for our tour. Our guide Bob did an amazing job letting us know what to expect and how to navigate the trail. The trail was mixed surface with some road, dirt, and water!! We stopped a few times for a views and history of the island. We climbed up to the top of the mountain for an incredible multi view of the island. We headed back down traversing the rainforest. Overall we had a great time and highly recommend taking this tour while in St Croix! read more

We went on this excursion during our week-long St. Croix vacation and this was a highlight! Nick and Lisa, our guides, made safety the top priority. They are very knowledgeable of the culture, flora, and fauna of the area so they can probably answer any questions you may have. We stopped at a couple scenic vistas to take photos, and hear some interesting tidbits about the island. Definitely a memorable experience! read more

My parents, sister, and I did the xpedition STX back in January 2024. It was a great morning ride through the rain forest. As much as we've been to STX, we've never seen areas like this. The views and the scenery were amazing. Our guide did a great job and was very personable. The ATV tour was great fun for our family. From check in it was clear that safety is a priority and the staff took time to explain hazards on the ride, how to operate the ATVs, and expectations for the tour. Getting out and seeing the St. Croix hills and overlooks from an ATV was a perfect way to see and explore the island! Our Guides, Porkchop and Miss Cay were very helpful, friendly, and engaging throughout the tour. The ATVs were comfortable and capable, you can tell they are well maintained. First time ATVing so was a bit nervous but our guides were great. I think our guides names were Chris and Jamal. The entire trip last about an hour and a half. You start the trip on smooth pavement which helped me get acclimated to the ATV and getting used to turning. The actual trail isn't that difficult. There's some puddles and narrow sections but nothing too crazy. Once you get to the top, you have incredible views of the entire island. There were two other couples in my group so a total of 6 people. My girlfriend and I each rented our own ATV. I would recommend riding your own, if possible, as the other couples seemed a bit uncomfortable with 2 riders on one vehicle. read more

What an amazing experience run by two of the most genuine and caring people you will ever meet. My wife had never driven an ATV and "Porkchop" (seriously, that's his nickname!) and Cynthia made sure she was comfortable and safe even with the trails being pretty challenging due to the recent rains. Outstanding adventure! The mountain top views of St. Croix were amazing and cannot be found by car, only with Gecko ATVs! Loved driving with my 8 yo son on the back. This was probably one of the funnest things I have done on a trip in years! The staff is awesome and very helpful to the point where they were getting on their hands and knees to take us quality pictures for our honeymoon. The trails we rode on were awesome and exciting. My family and I did this tour 8 years ago and LOVED it! We decided to go back and share the experience with friends the beginning of June and was very disappointed. We purchased two 2-fer packages and another just ATV ride. We showed up checked-in to find out there had been several wrecked vehicles on recent trips they claimed from people being irresponsible. We drove to the beach to meet the guides for the tour and waited about 30 minutes. We called the owner at the office again who had to drive to the beach to figure out what was going on. There had been another wreck which then delayed our tour. The ATVs themselves were NOT taken care of from flat/low tires, over heating, and no power steering. 8 years ago we made serval spots and view points and in the jungle to talk about wild life. This time around we only had 2 brief stops. The guides were great and had more information but there it would've been worth the price to have more stops and information rather than just trail riding. I would definitely recommend the Jet Skis and Westend Water Sports!! But skip the ATV!! read more

My husband and I booked the Land & Sea Package, which is a 2 hour ATV tour, 1 hour jet ski rental and usage of snorkel and kayak equipment (although we didn't do this part) for $200. Seth was our ATV guide and took us around onto the mountains and to different scenic spots on the island. He was friendly and entertaining as well as informative. After our ATV tour, we went to Rainbow Beach for our jet skis. We were given free reign to basically do whatever we wanted on our jet skis, which was a nice change from all the other operators elsewhere in the world with 10,000 rules. An awesome experience and I would definitely recommend this tour package to anyone! read more

I had a good time but they are very very poorly managed. When I tried to book online, I couldn't. I figured it's only 2 days in advance so I didn't mind. I called to book. I received no confirmation email. There was no email to describe the process or what to bring and what to expect. I later called to verify the address I found on google, only to know it's a different address I need to go to. Initially we had to check in at a different spot. They offer no transportation to rainbow beach where the ATVs are, despite being only a 3 minute drive on the ATV. So our taxi had to drop us off to check in and sign the paperwork. He waited for us and he wasn't happy about and ended up charging us $6 more. At the end of the trip I tried to offer feedback to the staff in a nice way saying that we had a good time but we got a little stressed because of the two taxi stops thing and the fact that we didn't know what to expect. They weren't receptive and said the information is on the website. Had I booked through the website I would've seen it but I had to book on the phone. They were nice to offer us transportation back to the check-in spot. The tour itself was fun. Adventurous but not too crazy. I would recommend the place only because they're the only business I knew of. If another better organized business opens up in the area, however, it would totally blow this one out of the water. Two things can make them better. Better communication with a nice email explaining things at the time of booking. Transportation from the check in spot to the beach and back should be the standard, not a "favor" read more

I would NEVER go back! Initially, the tour was going well until my ATV backfired at our 2nd stop and read "HOT" on the screen. That told me that this company DOES NOT take good care of their ATVs. As my friends and I went along the tour, (mind you, we are college graduates with Bachelor degrees that have been out of school for 4+ years) we got muddy and had a good ole time. The tour guide even joked and laughed with us because we had gotten so muddy and wet from the puddles. Anyways, towards the end of our tour, my ATV starting acting up and stalling. I let my Tour Guide know and then he just LOST IT! He started SCREAMING and YELLING at us! He told us that we BROKE his ATV by going through the mud and puddles. (Excuse me, but from my experience and knowledge that's what ATVs are made for. ATV = ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE, including mud puddles). He also stated that he was going to charge us a $50.00 cleaning fee and that it was in the contract so we couldn't refute it. To be honest, my group and I read through the contract and we did not read anything stating that you COULD NOT get the ATV dirty and that there was a $50 charge if we did. We didn't mind paying the fee. That's fine. What we were NOT okay with was that he was YELLING at us and stating that we broke his ATV. He was so unprofessional and RUDE! If he didn't want his ATVs to get a little muddy then maybe he should have said something at the beginning of the Tour or not be in the business of owning an ATV company. I DO NOT recommend anyone to go to them because they were NOT upfront about their costs and their customer service was VERY POOR! However, for the Jet Ski portion of the package, the Jet Ski Guys were AWESOME, KIND, & POLITE. We had a GREAT TIME with WEST END WATER SPORTS! read more

I booked this trip in advance and I am glad I had. We started the ATV run on time with good running large automatic ATVs. The tour guide kept everyone informed and kept a good eye for everyone's safety. We explored some very beautiful places on the island that are a must see and require a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also did the jeep tour with Tan Tan Tours which was also excellent and had a great tour guide named Erik. That is a must attend tour too. Finished with an hour run on a nice jet ski run by some very professional guys. Great trip in all. read more
