This place did not really have much of an atmosphere. It has the usual TV screens which thankfully was not on at the time, but you missed at least some music to fill the empty background. The barman said it gets very busy on a Thu / Fri / Sat night. I had a quick half of ale which at 1.50 was average priced. They had a small selection of beers (Stella, Fosters, Carlsberg) on tap. Really nothing special. I guess I just did not like this place.

If you get a mixed grill they often leave bits off when they run out of meat. Don't come during the evening if you have kids as they often have very rowdy young people in the pub and I made the mistake of bringing my 11 year old out on a Tuesday evening at 7pm at night and they were swearing and it wasn't nice for my daughter to hear. Lunchtimes are great here and I come often because its very reasonably priced and witherspoon have a great varied menu with so much to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly.
