The grounds were quite lovely, and the rooms were pretty comfortable as well. Being located on one of the main roads into town is pretty handy as well. However, I did find that it was a bit of a hike to get to if you didn't have a car and where relying on the buses, but there are cabs in Maryborough, so that definitely helps.

We waited too long for our meals for my liking - almost an hour - but there were quite a lot of people in the large dining room. I would just assume that if you're going to have that large a dining area the kitchen should be able to cater effeciently. Luckily I was pretty happy with my meal. Perfectly cooked prawns and grilled chicken with a creamy garlic sauce and a side of fries and salad. Overall, we had a pretty good experience and weren't made to feel out of place.

The food nice and very reasonably priced. I had the pulled turkey roll with chips. Very nice it was too, although I'd add a few leaves of salad and bump it up a couple of dollars as it seemed too lowly priced. I like it here and will definitely return.
