Nestled in the heart of downtown Morgan Hill, this vibrant neighborhood park blends play and local history with thoughtful design. Nods to the nearby railroad--like track designs embedded in the pavement and a train-themed play structure--add a charming, educational touch. Children of all ages can enjoy the three distinct play areas, including a towering spiderweb climbing structure that challenges older kids and delights little adventurers and a couple giant slides for the older ones. Scattered throughout are interactive musical elements that invite creativity and collaboration. The park's iconic giant blue chair stands as both a whimsical photo spot and a local landmark. As the sun dips out of sight, LED lights--generously donated by the Léal company--illuminate the trees, extending playtime safely during the shorter days of the year and creating a magical evening atmosphere. The park has a couple public restrooms that are relatively clean. (Always keep an eye on children near public restrooms, of course!) This park also has a wonderful local farmer's market in the neighboring parking lot each Saturday (rain or shine), and if you're up to it, a short walk will land you in a variety of restaurant options, most notably Jonty's next door and MoHi Farm across the street.

Very nice playground area for kids 12 years and younger. Well maintained and very clean. Dogs are not allowed here and parking is also limited. They have a farmers market here on Saturday mornings. The playground equipment is very well maintained and nice. It's right next to the Cal Trans train station.

Best. Park. Ever. Fun for all ages, great slides and every time the train comes by all of the kids run up the structure to get a chance to waive to the conductor.

Cute park near down town morgan hill and close to the railroad. Hence the name of the park. There's street parking, and two big parking lots as well. Like how the park is gated, it has codes on the gate but Idk what that's for or if it's for after hours? very clean bathroom (there's two) also the playground has many different areas for age range. Like how there's shade and many different areas to sit and hang out. Clean park as well. I love how a bunch of the kids climb the big structure when they hear the train coming. It can get loud but it's expected. My 3.5 year old loved it and loved climbing and going down all the slides etc. i would def come again to take my kiddos back to this park.

I come here regularly. It's near my home and it's a safe park. The Pros: 1. It's located in downtown which is walking distance. I normally go for walks and we stop here to play. 2. This park has bathrooms. 3. It is enclosed so the kids can run around and not be snatched up by a random stranger. 4. There are benches and tables outside the park and benches inside the park. 5. It is pretty safe. I leave my carrier or our trike near the bench and no one has ever vandalized or stolen. People in town are respectful. The Cons: 1. There is no shade so the slide will get hot. Actually the entire park is hot 2. Some of the older kids will come to the smaller playground and it becomes unsafe for the younger kids. 3. I feel like it gets so CROWDED that it should be bigger. If you come at peak times, it's so so busy. 4. There's not enough space in the smaller playground. The small playground has an opening and it's dangerous because a kid can fall from there. I've talked to parents about that and it's a common theme. Suggestion: Add another smaller playground or close up the empty gap because it's dangerous. Also, why are there no diaper changing stations??? This is ESSENTIAL.

Although not a huge park but it's extremely clean and fun for little ones! I love all of the playful murals painted on the walls. They've got different play structures for different ages.

A really nice neighborhood park that we chanced on while we were walking around the neighborhood waiting to pick up our food at a nearby restaurant. LOVED the murals on the walls and the theme. I wish I was a kid so I could go here often!

What an awesome place for kids. There a verity is structures of different sizes and abilities for children to play on. Gated park so your children are safe. This park has been here a while but it still seems new. Parking close by, good size parking lot right next to the park for you to park. Bring your kids and I'm sure they will have fun here. Benches to sit at and have a light snack or lunch.

It's such a cute quint park for the kids by the railroad , hence the railroad park. The VTAs only run during the commute time on the weekdays so it's nice and quiet on the weekends even though it's next to the railway. I wished we had this type of park close to our house in Fresno. What's really nice about this park is that it's double gated so the kids can't just run out to the streets or the parking lot next to the park. A great safety feature. And the park has the soft cushioned ground which is nice for the little ones . Nice murals on the wall and the play structures look relatively new.

The coolest newest park I have seen in a long time. Like brand new. Well, maybe is not brand new but looks pristine and everyone using it pretty civilized (nothing is broken, people make their kids wait in line to use the playgrounds, no paper or trash on the floor...is like perfect!). There is a door to access this park, so I assume they close it at night and it is only for daily use. The bathrooms are so cute, imitating the station where you buy the train tickets and all in the park reflects the railroad days, preterit and new. I found out this park when visiting the farmer's market one Saturday...it is just right there. Park on the street and just walk towards this park and if you are hungry and the farmers market is not enough, there is a cute Vietnamese sandwich place right there. Family friendly, clean, colorful, happy park made out of tons of recycled materials.

Review #192 - 2018 While we were waiting for our food at Jonty's, we were super grateful for this playground as the baby was getting antsy waiting with us to get our orders. The playground is very nice and clean, but the baby was only able to play on the big slides since it was so hot and that was the only spot that was somewhat shaded. My 8-year old niece also had a good time playing on her own since she doesn't get to go to the playgrounds too often. The thing that actually impressed us the most was the automated touch-less bathroom stalls. LOL We all took turns going inside just to see how it worked--I know we must sound like a bunch of country folks entering the big city for the very first time.

I like the train shaped playground area and how the toddler playground has a track for you to bring your toy cars to.

We came here for a kid's birthday party, and this park is so nice!…read more It's very spacious, lots of free parking, and lots of features. There is an extensive playground with different types of swings, merry-go-round things, a large playhouse thing, and several slides on a little hill on the playground. In the area with the slides they have turf material and there is a recycling box with cardboard so that kids can use it and also sled down the hill. They have different types of courts like for basketball, pickleball, tennis, baseball. There is lots of space to walk on the gravel path, and there is sort of a pond area (which appears to be less maintained). There are many picnic areas that are shaded too. I really liked that the area the birthday party was located had a gate so that kids wouldn't run out and away. The playground also had a gate on it too, which is great for childrens' safety and parents' ease of minds! We noticed the bathrooms are somewhat high tech with lights to activate the automatic doors and lights to indicate that the bathroom is occupied. I didn't go in, so I can't comment on cleanliness/upkeep. Wish this kind of park was more common. I would highly recommend this park!

New magical bridge playground opens this weekend. It's not even open yet and it looks beautiful so far :) It has a dog park, a trail, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a baseball field. I almost forgot, the ducks! It has a lake with ducks! I like walking the trail because there are plenty of trees which creates shade, so it's not just sunny. The bathrooms are located in between the tennis courts and the baseball field. Also, parking is free! Anyone can come with children, strollers, solo individuals, people with dogs, anyone. Everyone is in their own world, living their life with nature.
