Not a good review. I never went to him, I have worked with him in the past, but this review has nothing to do with work, and everything to do with a friend's mother. She is dying from cancer and he refused to give her any more pain medication, cutting her off completely, stating "I dont want you to become addicted." The woman is dying!!! She has cancer!!!! Are you freakin' kidding me. Lost ALL respect for the man at that point. And also, if you ask him to repeat anything, he becomes extremely upset. Look I'm not the one with the very thick Indian accent. If I ask you to repeat yourself (in a nice way), I don't expect a God complex, k? She seemed to be nice. She could have listened to me and actually looked at me. She was in the room MAYBE 10 minutes and she took a Personal phone called. Them if that wasn't bad enough I tried to ask her another question she said she would see me in 2 weeks!!! I have no idea it was the strangest dr visit I have ever mean to. I seen this Dr. Rai a few days ago and he's Unprofessional cause I'm Disabled and he kicked me out of his office cause I had questions about my medications that I've been taking and he just gets upset and wants to have me take less or not help me as if he specializes in spinal cord injury so he ended up kicking me out of his office and said don't come back not even giving me a prescription for my my blood thinner and I have a few days left with no doctor to help me so I filed a report with my insurance against Dr. Rai so if anything happens with me then I'm going after him other than that I don't recommend this Doctor he doesn't care what so ever he needs to lose his license if he is a Doctor cause that is wrong what he did to me and no body deserves that.. read more

The place is stinky. One time the Dr. Rai smelled like he just shit his pants. He only gives 30 supply for my blood pressure with no refills even though I've been on this same medication previously for several years. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and he won't authorize refills over the phone to the pharmacy. He is squeezing my insurance and me for my deductible. After several months seeing him and a lot of complaining he finally gives me one refill. So if I want my medicine I still have to see him every two months even though I feel fine. Every time he sees me he asks me the same thing," What are you doing here ".... Then he opens my file and looks at it and writes my refill....That's it...30 seconds....another $75 deductible and whatever he charges my insurance....SCAM.... read more

Very knowledgable doctors and caring/Compassionate doctors and staff.. These doctors have been working in the area and have been my doctor for over 20 years now since I was a kid. Now that I myself am in my final year of medical school I can say with confidence that these doctors knows their stuff and will get you appointments with specialists promptly if needed. I have now worked with hundreds of doctors over the course of my medical school career and I can say this doctor and her staff rank in the top 5 in my humble opinion. To the previous poster who didn't "claim" to have a good experience my response: what does not taking credit card have to do with how good of a doctor someone is? Second you complain about copayment but then you demand to see a specialist when your doctor doesn't feel you need to see one and is probably saving you a copay at the specialists office; remember sometimes what makes a good doctor is one that will not pander to your wishes and actually do what is in your interest and not just what will make you happy at that moment.. Thirdly I do believe these doctor spend adequate time with their patients.. No primary care doctor at any office I'd going to spend an hour or even thirty minutes with you.. You can thank the US goverment for making Medicare and medical payments so little to primary docs .. Trust me these docs spend more time with you than 95% of docs I worked with. All in all these are good docs and staff from my experience with them and my comparison to other docs I have worked with in medical school..From what I hear both Dr.Rai's are some of the busiest and well respected doctors in the Modesto/Ceres area. Sorry for my rant regarding the other persons review.. I just get defensive when it comes to my doctor plus the other person was probably a disgruntled employee or something..Thank you Dr. Rai and staff for over 20 years of care !!! read more

I won't recommend this place to again! The doctors suck. Every time I go in she would ask me so what are you doing here. They don't know jack about you. They don't ask any questions or even mentioned if I have question. The medical assistant are super nice but seriously the doctors need some work. And this place smells and looks like its all for tweakers. read more

This is the worst Drs.office i have ever been to. SHe is not professional at all!!! It took them 1 yr to finally get me to see an orthopedic!!! The Ortho, even said that was so rediculous!! Im must say the staff is very nice, BUT they dont do their job always talking laughing instead of doing their job!!! Cant wait for my new insurance to start im so done with this place!!!! read more

Absolutely ridiculous! She seen me told me i needed to do blood work for throid n gloclose before she cud help me figure things out,told me make an appt for a wk. When i went to make the appt at front desk i noticed they forgot my lab slip to go do blood work. I asked and was told come back in a wk for the lab slip. Wth. What kind of dr has u make another seprate appt just for a lab slip to go do blood work??? After i very calmly refused to leave without resolution ,she then took me to the room in the back was very unprofessional and rude then told me she wouldnt be seeing me anymore and to leave. Recorded all this but at this time she was un aware i was recording everything. A year ago she told me i had a cyst on my left kidney i went to kaiser for a second opinion due to lack of care and further tests done by her I WAS TOLD THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO KIDNEY CYST. The list of things not properly done in this office goes on. She is doing insurance fraud on her patients with non sense appts to get paid. What dr tells you to do blood work but refuses to give you the lab slip? Tells you come back in a week and get the lab slip?? Contacted a lawyer today, nothing about this is right. read more

Both of these Dr. Rai 's are horrible! And are being investigated by the drug administration. I've had medical problems my whole life and dozens and dozens of surgeries. And they were the only doctors that would take me in. The nurses were rude and Dr. Rai was even ruder. She didn't know how months work, that some have more or less days then some other months do. And when I asked why she didn't give me the correct number of my medicine for the month, she looked at me like I was crazy and said that I messed up. And when I tried explaining this to her she got angry, so I dropped it. Then a couple appointments later, she lied and said I was wheezing and wanted me to use her humidifier. And even before I could tell her that I wasn't, she already turned it on and said that it was to late and gave me a piece of paper and said she already put it on my insurance. About a month or two later I got a knock on my door and this woman said she was investigating both of the Dr. Rai's for false insurance claims and unneeded medicine and treatments. And when I asked Dr. Rai about this she got up and ten minutes later I heard her out side the door, saying that she wanted one of the nurses to be a witness. She walked right up to me not saying anything and walked out of the room, while the nurse told me that she didn't want to be my doctor any more. I told her that legal she has to give me one months worth of medicine, the nurse gave me a dirty look and walked out. less than five minutes later the nurse came in with a printed out contract saying that she's not going to be my doctor anymore and that she's only giving me one week of medicine. Worst doctor I've ever had! And I've had A LOT of doctors. read more

The Doctor is very rude. She only seen me for a couple minutes and I asked three times for her to check my arm that was bothering me and she never did. Then she asked me what am I doing here? Definitely going to be getting another doctor. read more
