I used Long's services for several years. This past year I received a notice from the IRS…read moreindicating that I had underreported my income in 2017 and owed almost an additional $6K which included approximately $500 in interest. I immediately went to Long's office where after reviewing his files he readily admitted he made a mistake in preparing my taxes. I susbsequently asked that he at least pay the interest owed since it was due to his error to which he flippantly replied that I had "use of the money for that time period, hence the interest", i.e., it was my problem, not his.

It was a quicker than expected process, and their team is very organized!! When we did our taxes last year, we had to take 2 appointments to get things done, but this year we managed to do it easily in one sitting (which was very helpful since we have a 3 month old baby). I feel they were able to explain all the deductions and credits we qualified for as well as explaining why we didn't meet the guidelines for others. I think we'll definitely be back for a 3rd time next tax year!

They then refused to use a telephone to correct the issue. This business seems to ONLY want to do business over email. Well, I tried that. The picture below shows how many attempts I made to get my meeting rescheduled. After the fifth attempt, I FINNALY got a response saying they are now closed tor the season! Haha! The same email explained they would be back in the office on August 18th and to reach back out at that time to continue where we left off. I had no choice since they had all my original tax documents and I could not retrieve them. I waited patiently for this time to arrive. They just returned back to the office at the said time and notified me that since I missed the onboarding call on April 22 that they refused to reschedule, they are not taking on any clients. If you are a high net-worth client like myself, I would avoid this company like the plague. They are unresponsive (as shown below), they lack systems to help when a client cant get into a meeting, they have no issue lying about revisiting your tasks after their promise to do so.
