About five years ago took another car there and they told me it needed to transmission, since I trusted them I did it. took the same car back about a year later because it was leaking and they wanted to charge me again, so I drove it like that and I managed to get rid of the car afterward without fixing the problem. I still didn't question their honesty until I took my own car there, they told me I would have to get a new transmission yet again, this time costing more than ever at nearly $5000. I was super upset about this so I called another shop just to get an estimate, long story short I had to go pick up the car which they didnt want to give me back, had to basically beg them, and take it to the other shop who managed to fix the problem: $450- yes, less than one tenth the cost, it never needed a transmission. they had lied to me, now it's a year and a half later and the car is fine. the second car probably never needed the transmission rebuilt either, i will never know... these guys are absolute lying pieces of shit.

I was desperate and had to fix it. The time and price doubled! Every time I called I was hung up on by Pat or Nick would rush me off and say "I'll call you back in 5 minutes" and never called back. They were supposed to fix my transmission and the key fob wasn't unlocking my front doors when I came to pick up my car. I went to get gas and the inside of the door fell off. They blamed it on electrical work they claimed was recently done however I've had this car a few years and never had electrical work done! They took pictures of it I assume to cover themselves. I regret using Google, and not reading Yelp. I should've known better! When I mentioned yelps reviews Nick had nothing but negative things to say about their former patrons. After getting a ton of recommendations from locals, i took my car to dave. Had burning smell coming…read morefrom under the hood, and they diagnosed it as an oil drip coming from under the manifold. The guy who would have been able to tackle the job was recovering from wrist surgery, so dave recommended another business which i had the work done at. While on the lift at daves though, they noticed that one of the caliper bolts was missing (of course...because when i had my brake job done, i had it done at mavis and they forgot to put the bolt back). They secured with a new bolt for me (free of charge) and that annoying slight rattle i was hearing when hitting a bump was gone. I will be back to dave for any car issues based on that alone.
