So I booked three different nights I want to start off by saying this property is very beautiful and very upscale I was caught off guard because of the price very budget affordable .. I do wanna say that not all of the staff is friendly.. a few weird interactions Great location expect the fact that it's a cross the street from a homeless shelter and not all those people are friendly But you definitely have a lot of options for food and exploring, but do be mindful. Everything closes so early downtown. We were not able to find food after 10:30 PM.

eating area, brooke was an amazing server, perfect service!

Immediately, employees were kind and welcoming to my sister and I. They wished her a happy birthday and offered an upgrade for her birthday which we accepted. It's a secure facility and we booked the hotel last minute for the Kehlani concert. The front desk staff (i cant remember their name, but beautiful soul) was so friendly and gave us directions to the Armory which I appreciated greatly. Our server Brooke served exactly what we needed and the food was affordable, delicious and perfect. I was a breakfast cook and a barista at one point, I know quality and this place has it at an attainable price. I wanna come back with my family and the kids would love this spot. It's also dog friendly!

    King corner suite.

We tried out three different Radissons on our trip to The Twin Cities, and I have to say, Radisson Red Minneapolis was our favorite. Underground heated parking, attached to the hotel. No need to be exposed to the elements while entering or exiting your car. That is wonderful. Because it SNOWED when we were here. (Mid October!) Now it's going to run you $32 per day, but I think it's totally worth it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and hip. We had a corner suite with two windows, so we received plenty of light. And the windows had two sets of shades, one for privacy (that still admitted plenty of light), and a total blackout shade which was perfect for sleeping. The bed and linens were comfortable and I appreciated the seating area with table and cool light fixtures throughout. Did I mention this place is dog friendly? It seems like dogs are accepted many places in Minneapolis; I see so many out with their owners. Add this hotel to the list that thinks dogs are part of the family! There is a fabulous restaurant/bar attached to the lobby, OUI. Only downside is that it has limited hours. We wanted to grab a drink while we waited to check in (we arrived early) and it wasn't open. The location of the hotel is also great, close to many museums, and a Trader Joe's just around the corner. Also a grassy park a block away where you can walk your pooch. All in all we had a great stay, and this will be our go-to next time we are in Minneapolis!

It's modern and I like it! A lot. Now this might not be to everyone's taste but it's not overtop avant-garde Jackson Pollock. See my pics. Hotel parking is expensive but meter parking is available and inexpensive as long as your not parking more than 4 hours otherwise Houston we have a problem. Overnight street parking is free. It's in the heart of the city with enough security features that you feel safe such as elevator access only with your key card and the TV is huge!

Super art decco and pet friendly!

I would totally stay here again! Not sure if I would recommend it to my more "high maintenance" friends, but I would for sure book here if I were ever in Minneapolis again. Small studio style rooms with modern decor and sustainable electricity and standard hotel amenities. There were refillable shower caddies (which I love). I wish instead of bar soap there would be a caddy for that too, but all supplies were of solid quality and smelled great. Rooms were a little small, but definitely adequate for our one night visit. Beds were comfy, there were plenty of channels on the Ultra HD TV. There is a gym that is key card access 24 hours. It's small, but decent. I went in around 5am and no one was there, but when I came back down at 830, it was pretty full. I didnt find any of the issues the other reviewers mentioned; no weird smells, no pests, my check in was efficient and polite and parking was easy (we paid for the hotel parking in their garage). There isnt room service, but the in house restaurant was decent for to go dinner (it was raining, but there seemed to be solid places to go in the vicinity). This is a dog friendly hotel, but there is little to no green space for dog "business". Just a warning in case your pooch is picky about where they go.

    Cool room lots of light

Rooms are good. Bed is comfortable. Lots of plugs for your devices. Cool furniture. Cool rooms. Nice light. Good big windows. No view. No nightlife in the hotel. A little off the beaten path of the cooler neighborhoods and downtown area. I would stay here if I was with my kids I would never stay here with my wife on a date weekend.

We loved this place! It has such a cool vibe! We had an issue with our room at first and they fixed it right away! The bed were comfy, the location is amazing and overall we had a great great stay! I would definitely come visit here again!!

Hotel is bright, cleaned and has great staffs. Although the hotel has construction at round it, I didn't have any noise problems. Public parking is across the hotel and reasonable. Hotel is easy access to nearby restaurants and the City Mill.

Ate at their restaurant at a dog friendly event. Had their tater tot special - really good, French Toast - not bad and Biscuits and Gravy which was good but had way too little gravy (needed like 3-4 times more). So a lot of the biscuit was dry or uncoated. But what was there tasted good. We really liked their dog friendly event!!

Ate at the restaurant (Oui Bar) my first night and it was delicious and had to try their Orange Slushie made with Tito's vodka.

The front desk staff were amazing! Very friendly and we got cold water bottles to start, which was an unexpected but great surprise! We were on the 17th floor! Loved the views! My boyfriend and I drank wine and enjoyed the night views before dinner. The room was very comfortable! The bed was soft yet firm and the pillows were feather. It just had a luxurious feel to it! The tv in the room was huge! There is a minibar but of course it's expensive! There was a shower with a rainfall shower head, as well as a large soaking tub! Felt so good! All of the complimentary products smelled amazing! There are food/ bar options on the property. I have heard good things about them! We opted to go to Stock and Bond which is about a mile away and was VERY GOOD! While we were at dinner, someone brought up a chilled bottle of prosecco and small dessert. There was also a card of my boyfriend's birthday! A very welcome touch! This place does have breakfast you can order to your room! Or lunch, dinner, snacks, depending on the time of day. The menu looks great! This is a beautiful and clean property! Everyone was very friendly and I would happily stay here again!

Our group had made reservations under one person's credit card and name, and the hotel was very accommodating in getting us all checked in, key cards sorted and the like. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. I really appreciated the number of outlets so that I could keep all of my devices charged and ready to use. The general store in the lobby was a great place to stop and grab a coffee. I found the prices in there pretty reasonable, of course it could be because I live in California so the Minnesota prices were pretty low for me. The lobby ambiance is upscale but also perfect if you need to do a a little bit of work. My flights were later than my checkout time, so they were very friendly and accommodating when I had to check my suitcase. It was also really easy to grab the suitcases. I've been to other hotels where I've had to stand in a really long line of people checking in just to claim my suitcase. That wasn't the case here. If I ever come to Minneapolis again, I would for sure stay here. Great location, easy walk to the convention center and great downtown eateries.

Very clean up to date comfortable hotel…read more Very clean but oddly laid out There's no drawers for clothes, just small desk drawers and a closet to hang stuff There are no towel holders near the shower, just a hook that is not really in reach Very nice blackout curtain, you can almost get total blackout except light bleed from top and bottom of curtain which is not much, and light from TV (red) and light that randomly flashes from fire alarm, and alarm clock if you don't face it down there is a constant fan (2) that blow, it does dry things fast if you wash something, like 2 hours passive, but it does hum the entire time there is a hair dryer but it's short so you can't really hold on to clothes to dry it with it cuz of how outlets are laid out i wish there was a seat in entranceway, it's kinda wasted space the doors are loud, you will feel them shake if it's the ones near you, they kinda slam for the most part it was very quiet in the hotel, you will hear ppl if they are loud in the hallways but i barely heard anyone the entire time staff are very friendly soap and shampoo etc are citrus, it smelled nice i like that you can get a foam pillow if you want through the app or just asking bed was nice and comfy, slept well over all i had them empty the mini fridge since those cost money they give you free water, you can get more free in the fitness center and you can get ear buds there for free

But I'm glad I got to stay one night to experience it.

Not worth the hype…read more Was genuinely excited to stay at the W Minneapolis from Dec 19-22, but unfortunately the experience ended up feeling underwhelming, and stressful. Cost. The W is expensive, which shouldn't surprise anyone. Nightly rates hover around $200+ per night. Valet parking is $60 per night; objectively overpriced, though undeniably convenient. Additional fees: Pet owners, expect a $100 flat fee plus $25 per night, which adds up quickly. Where things start to fall apart is navigation and access to information. The hotel is surprisingly confusing to get around, and there's virtually no wayfinding or signage. In fully embracing the digital-only approach, the hotel has eliminated all traditional paper materials. No map. No room book. No quick-reference guide. Everything lives digitally. That sounds modern--until you need basic information like restaurant hours. eg). I attempted to visit the bar on floor 27 at around 330 pm. (It doesn't open until 5pm) However none of this is clearly displayed, and SUPER difficult to find without messaging the front desk and the Marriott app was hit-or-miss at best during my stay. The digital key never worked once, and even the room phone didn't function. That wouldn't be a huge issue if the app worked reliably--but it didn't. I did message the front desk through the app to request a USB-C charging cable and was told none were available. In 2025. At a W. That felt less like sleek minimalism and more like missed fundamentals. Food/ Room Service: Absolutely excellent. Manny's Steakhouse and the Prohibition Bar are both fantastic and independently operated in partnership with the hotel. See Manny's Steakhouse for a full review, it alone was a highlight of the stay. The room itself was very spacious, but it's important to remember this is an old building, and it shows. I struggled to maintain a consistent water temperature the entire stay. The room layout was also frustrating: the TV is mounted far from the bed, on a wall shared with neighboring rooms. Turning up the volume even slightly resulted in a noise complaint from next door. Yep, that actually happened. Overall, the W Minneapolis has style, history, and good food...but the experience feels more focused on image than guest usability. With better wayfinding, reliable tech, and basic in-room information, this could be a great stay. As it stands, it didn't live up to the hype
