Stayed just one night, in town for a Twins game. Just about a mile walk to Target Field. Front desk woman at check-in was amazing. Professional, succinct, and so friendly. She asked where would we prefer our room to be regarding floor, near elevator, room view, etc. King room was very clean and comfortable. Bath was immaculate. Parking was in safe parking ramp. Definitely a good choice.

We have had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt. From the front desk staff and the staff working at the Hyatt store, as well as the bartender and server at the restaurant everyone was beyond helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Samson who worked at the store Sunday night was overly friendly and helpful to our family. We really enjoyed our time in Minnesota, all the locals were friendly and open to chatting and talking. I don't know that we would come back in the Winter time because we aren't used to the snow, but I recommend the Hyatt for their service alone and I also generally love the Hyatt!

Very solid hotel in a great location. Can easily walk to Twins games, North loop, the Mill City Museum, The Guthrie, and US Bank stadium. The gym is one of the nicest I've seen in a hotel. They have peloton, stairmasters, treadmills, and any type of weight or workout machine you could want. I almost forgot to mention the indoor full size basketball court, indoor heated swimming pool, and the squash courts!

I stayed here and participated in a conference on the 4th floor. The rooms were pretty standard, however, I really enjoyed the conference space. I'll give my pros and cons of the experience: Pros: The lobby is very spacious (allowing small groups to meet), the lobby restaurant was tasty, you are able to check your luggage before or after check out, and the conference space on the fourth floor had multiple rooms of different sizes to accommodate our large group needs. Cons: The "Starbucks" in the hotel had limited coffee options and was only open 6:30-8:30, the hotel location is right by a bus stop with some shady characters, and the elevator situation was inconvenient since you had to have your room key out every time to access any floor except the lobby Overall, I think there are better hotels for conferences close by. I would choose the Hilton Minneapolis over this one.

I would stay here again for the gym. It was as big as the ones in Vegas! Several rooms, all this equipment i have seen at LA fitness etc. There's a studio for you to select a class and the tv plays it. This is a large hotel and i was here for a conference. I wish i remembered my bathing suit. The pool closes around 9PM because there are rooms that face into the indoor pool. My room was clean, and the black out curtains really helped me sleep well. I was right next to the elevator and was worried i was going to hear it all night but it was pretty quiet. I also felt safer because you needed to use your card to get to your floor 24/7. For the conference, the directions were pretty easy to get around. As expected, they keep the breakout and ballrooms pretty chilly so bring a sweater! The separators need to be better about keeping out noise, talking, clapping from other sessions happening concurrently. I love that the hotel is right next to the Loring Greenway and it was a pleasant stroll in the afternoons for August. The Greenway lead to restaurants, a tennis court, pickleball court, there was live music happening on the grass and you can take a bridge to the Walker Museum (free on Thursdays) and the famous cherry on a spoon sculpture.

The front desk staff were amazing! Very friendly and we got cold water bottles to start, which was an unexpected but great surprise! We were on the 17th floor! Loved the views! My boyfriend and I drank wine and enjoyed the night views before dinner. The room was very comfortable! The bed was soft yet firm and the pillows were feather. It just had a luxurious feel to it! The tv in the room was huge! There is a minibar but of course it's expensive! There was a shower with a rainfall shower head, as well as a large soaking tub! Felt so good! All of the complimentary products smelled amazing! There are food/ bar options on the property. I have heard good things about them! We opted to go to Stock and Bond which is about a mile away and was VERY GOOD! While we were at dinner, someone brought up a chilled bottle of prosecco and small dessert. There was also a card of my boyfriend's birthday! A very welcome touch! This place does have breakfast you can order to your room! Or lunch, dinner, snacks, depending on the time of day. The menu looks great! This is a beautiful and clean property! Everyone was very friendly and I would happily stay here again!

The lobby is beautifully decorated, featuring a cozy fireplace and even self serve beer taps from 3 PM to 6 PM, a unique and fun touch. The entire hotel felt very clean and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spotless and stylish, with decor reflecting Minnesota history. The bathroom was spacious and well lit, though only downside was the low water Preston the shower. The location is also excellent, with easy access to the highway. Overall, a great stay, you won't be disappointed at Elliott Park Hotel.

Very clean up to date comfortable hotel…read more Very clean but oddly laid out There's no drawers for clothes, just small desk drawers and a closet to hang stuff There are no towel holders near the shower, just a hook that is not really in reach Very nice blackout curtain, you can almost get total blackout except light bleed from top and bottom of curtain which is not much, and light from TV (red) and light that randomly flashes from fire alarm, and alarm clock if you don't face it down there is a constant fan (2) that blow, it does dry things fast if you wash something, like 2 hours passive, but it does hum the entire time there is a hair dryer but it's short so you can't really hold on to clothes to dry it with it cuz of how outlets are laid out i wish there was a seat in entranceway, it's kinda wasted space the doors are loud, you will feel them shake if it's the ones near you, they kinda slam for the most part it was very quiet in the hotel, you will hear ppl if they are loud in the hallways but i barely heard anyone the entire time staff are very friendly soap and shampoo etc are citrus, it smelled nice i like that you can get a foam pillow if you want through the app or just asking bed was nice and comfy, slept well over all i had them empty the mini fridge since those cost money they give you free water, you can get more free in the fitness center and you can get ear buds there for free

But I'm glad I got to stay one night to experience it.

Not worth the hype…read more Was genuinely excited to stay at the W Minneapolis from Dec 19-22, but unfortunately the experience ended up feeling underwhelming, and stressful. Cost. The W is expensive, which shouldn't surprise anyone. Nightly rates hover around $200+ per night. Valet parking is $60 per night; objectively overpriced, though undeniably convenient. Additional fees: Pet owners, expect a $100 flat fee plus $25 per night, which adds up quickly. Where things start to fall apart is navigation and access to information. The hotel is surprisingly confusing to get around, and there's virtually no wayfinding or signage. In fully embracing the digital-only approach, the hotel has eliminated all traditional paper materials. No map. No room book. No quick-reference guide. Everything lives digitally. That sounds modern--until you need basic information like restaurant hours. eg). I attempted to visit the bar on floor 27 at around 330 pm. (It doesn't open until 5pm) However none of this is clearly displayed, and SUPER difficult to find without messaging the front desk and the Marriott app was hit-or-miss at best during my stay. The digital key never worked once, and even the room phone didn't function. That wouldn't be a huge issue if the app worked reliably--but it didn't. I did message the front desk through the app to request a USB-C charging cable and was told none were available. In 2025. At a W. That felt less like sleek minimalism and more like missed fundamentals. Food/ Room Service: Absolutely excellent. Manny's Steakhouse and the Prohibition Bar are both fantastic and independently operated in partnership with the hotel. See Manny's Steakhouse for a full review, it alone was a highlight of the stay. The room itself was very spacious, but it's important to remember this is an old building, and it shows. I struggled to maintain a consistent water temperature the entire stay. The room layout was also frustrating: the TV is mounted far from the bed, on a wall shared with neighboring rooms. Turning up the volume even slightly resulted in a noise complaint from next door. Yep, that actually happened. Overall, the W Minneapolis has style, history, and good food...but the experience feels more focused on image than guest usability. With better wayfinding, reliable tech, and basic in-room information, this could be a great stay. As it stands, it didn't live up to the hype

The automated blinds were a game-changer (especially with those floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city). We were greeted with a perfectly curated welcome snack, and the nightly turn-down service was next-level. Every evening they left a large bottle of water and fresh ice--such a simple touch, but it made a huge difference and showed how much they sweat the small stuff.
