Hickory Hill Miniature Golf is fun for mini golfers who love a challenge…read more Ah yes, Hickory Hill. Home of miniature golf holes with water hazards, bunkers, roughs, and the dreaded 12th-hole-cave-of-doom. This is the mini golf course your parents warned you about. As the name suggests, this beautifully landscaped putt putt oasis is set into a hill. You start at the bottom, where one of two gently babbling creeks ends its long meandering journey through the front nine in a pond. The first hole is a forgiving straight shot (short and easy). The second is lengthy, and if you gun it, the green will let your ball roll right off and into the pond (which is why they kindly provide a skimmer at every lagoon). And that's two big things to love about Hickory Hill: their lengths are oversized, and feature many opportunities for your ball to do what you don't want it to do. The 12th hole is a monster: your ball has a steep climb to the cave at the top. Once it gets there, if it doesn't find the hole, or a rare niche to cling to, your golf ball will roll all the way back down the hill to the tee. There's a 90% chance you'll max out your six strokes. Don't be mad -- just get more holes in one on the front nine. Overall, this Hickory Hill is a ton of fun to play. I recommend it for family fun and World Minigolf Sport Federation (yes, it's a thing) wannabes alike!

My family and I have just moved to the Syracuse area a couple of months ago. We have a large family…read moreand this was the only place that would accept us because of this . This is supposed to be the best in the area but by my experience it's not. On the first day we got our apartment they told us that the apartment had been cleaned and the carpets had been steam cleaned. When walking around exploring our apartment for the first time we found water damage at all windows, spiders and other insects, cracks in the wall, gathering carpet, a tub that didn't plug, a outlet that didn't work, and carpet that was supposedly cleaned but left our feet black. When we told the people up in the front what needed to be noted on the inspection they where " very surprised ". Regardless everything was noted and over time the things that maintenance could fix did. This apartment complex is also not child friendly. I have younger and older children and the younger kids have nothing to do here. There is not play ground but a freezing pool that they are allowed to go in. Children under 13 are not allowed in the hot tub at all even though the pool is unheated and not covered with a solar cover so it can warm up. The two good things about the club house is 1. they have a small gym and 2. They have a movie theater that you can rent out. My kids that where in the Baldwinsville school district hated it. All of the children where mean to my kids. The school is also very old fashion, as in textbooks and pens and papers. They rarely use computers. Because of all of this l decided to pull my kids out and homeschool them. When asking the office if there was anyway I could get out of the lease they didn't give me any options really. They told us that they would try to sell the apartment but they already have 3 others that they are trying to get rid of. this means it could take months for someone else to move in but until then you are forced to pay for it. Rent here is VERY expensive so we would not be able to afford two apartments. We also have maintenance up here every week for something else. It gets very annoying because I have plans for the day and then it gets put on hold because I have to wait for them to fix what ever needs to get fixed. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. But like the sign says in the front,"prepared to be spoiled".

Very nice apartments and pet friendly. They of course tell you that dogs aren't allowed but as long…read moreas you don't tell them they don't really care. I don't have one but trust me they're all over the place.
