Stop watering down the sour dip bitters. We know when you've added water to it. We're not stupid…read more You get to know a product after buying the same brand for years but the last bottle I bought at two separate times were watery, thinner than usual, less bitter and filled to the rim. No one fill a jar that full. I had someone else get it or I would have known it was half fake. Your customers use these products for health so stop selling substandard sour sop bitters. You make enough money in that store so don't steal from your customers. Watering down the product and selling it is stealing. I am so annoyed you did it two times and with multiple bottles. I won't buy this product from you again. But the other products appear ok. But now I can't really trust that. This is a real actual review to tell you to stop.

I was looking for my friend and was able to reach him via cellphone, I told him to go into the closest store for help which happened to be health food & vitamin city. I asked my friend to hand over the phone to the only employee there so I could get a bearing on his location, I was coming from Glendale Queens NY to try and get him. I tried to explain to the employee that my friend suffers from mental issues, to please keep him there while I arrived. When I got to the store about 15 minutes later, my friend was gone. The store employee said he wanted to get to 14 st subway, so he let him go. He was found by the police in LI CITY Queens the following morning. The employee's Humanitarianism wasn't present. The store was closing, not his problem

If you've lived as long as I have in Chelsea, a walk down any block prompts memories for what used…read moreto be in any given storefront. That used to be a long-loved video rental! This used to be sweet bistro where many days and nights were shared with friends. This particular storefront is even more rare because it's not a chain and is open late, for the way working folk have needed to live here for a long time. It's not Whole Foods or Vitamin Shoppe (or whatever that chain's named), but a humble spot where the selection of vitamins, herbs, topicals and a few pantry staples probably contains exactly what you're looking for. Ask any of my neighbors what they think about your cough, sniffle or dry skin, and they'll tell you, "Go see the vitamin guy on 23rd." And you should. Because for years, he's dispensed sound counsel to a number of us whose needs aren't easily addressed by either of those aforementioned chains or that chain pharmacy who makes you summon a worker to unlock some dental floss. I'd been recovering from RSV when my husband stopped by the Vitamin Guy and told him about my lingering cough and shallow breathing. He brought home some Olbas syrup and a tincture containing a melange of herbs, half of which I was familiar as a TCM patient for a number of years. Within week one I was feeling great relief. A neighbor who'd been hit with the same condition went and had his own chat and relief success story a week after me, and unprompted, said, "Vitamin Guy saved me again!" This is but one of many ways Vitamin Guy's helped me, my husband and many neighbors over 18 years. Go see him the next time you're wondering what you can do about whatever's ailing you; he probably has some sound advice to share, and you'd be keeping the lights on amid the many otherwise darkened storefronts that don't exactly inspire confidence around greater Chelsea.

I think they sell every brand of vegan proteins that exists. If you love May Wah and don't want to go all the way to Chinatown then this is the place for you. You'll also notice that the place smells extremely herbaceous and spicy. Around half of the store is dedicated to teas and spices, both boxed and in bulk. They also have a sizable amount of herbal supplements and vitamins behind the counter. If you're not into the Whole Foods scene but still want to get your vegetarian staples then you must go here. I will be back frequently. The only concern I do have is the other reviews that accuse the owner and staff of racial profiling. I also don't like the dismissive way the owner responds to those claims. If multiple people had accused me of racially profiling them I would take a hard look at myself.

I been going into this store for some time now. and I always spend a good amount of money mind you…read moreI drive 1.5 hours away just to come to them I usually spend $100 or more. the last time I went into the store I noticed certain things that I usually buy looked a bit different that's fine I decided OK no worries I will still purchase the items as I am leaving the store walking to my vehicle I go and check on the Internet to see if it's OK what I was given because I'm taking a lot of things and I don't wanna harm myself at that point I noticed the dandelion that he gave me was very chalky white and when you look at that online it says that it was cut or has been mixed with four or whatever the case may be it's just not the actual one he gave me the last time at that point i than turn right back around and go back inside i respectfully and quietly due to them having customers show him my phone at that point he got loud tellin me don't believe the internet well his exact words was AI which I don't understand where that came from he don't trust the internet but I was a bit taken back and confused because he just did a whole google search to show me that what he was giving me was what I needed at that point I was a bit embarrassed and tried to just tell him hey I would just like to return that one item so I can leave he just kept gettin very loud at that point everyone in the store was watching him talk to me the way he was I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected it was very unprofessional after he kept going on and tellin me I don't deserve this or deserve that I than said I no longer want to do service with you now you can take everything all I was originally trying to explain to him was that it was a different color that it's was not pure that other in words, it might not have the proper nutrients he just got very upset. He continued yelling at me at that point he was very Hostile as if he was going to physically touch me coming towards me another gentleman that works there had to hold him back which was very uncomfortable and a bit ghetto for me. I thought, as if I was dealing with someone in the street and not in a business establishment I was calm at first, but as he kept going and disrespecting me in front of people, that's when I felt a little bit threatened by the situation. All I was gonna do was return that one thing literally that one thing but because again he was so unprofessional and very nasty I decided i no longer wanted his service so I returned everything I guess he did not like the fact I tried to explain to him what he gave me was not what I asked for or it was not the actual pure product so at that point again that's why I feel he was very angry.which make no sense to me if a customer is there saying they no longer want to purchase something that should not be a issue and let me make this clear that is the 1st time I ever did or ask them to do that He than proceeded to tell me that I wasted his time which again was not cool to say to a customer you are there to help he seemed annoyed when I was asking questions or asking about prices. I just wanted to make sure that I had enough for what I was getting because I was getting more things than the usual Let's make this clear again whenever a customer comes into a business establishment trying to make a purchase and spends money it should never be a waste of time that's your job to sell things. You should be happy. that's the second time that I went to that location and something was different. If you ask for dandelion root that's what you should be given when I asked the other gentleman his name at the end he didn't give me his name. He then proceeds to pull a little tag off wall and says that's his name which did not seem correct to me but at that point I just said OK And left I recorded the whole encounter so that's fine
