Yard service was not-so-much, guys smoked and threw cigarette butts in the yard, pissed behind bushes, too long breaks, hid out in their van, and left job for long periods of time. Billing was another story... Radford Yard Service kept submitting paid invoices for many months after they were paid. We had to quit using them as it became apparent that they were being dishonest. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Radford Yard Service has provided my properties excellent quality service each month for the past 7+ years. The workers are hard working, fast and efficient. Exceptionally low rates for quality work. Easy communications. I'm extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this business. Grass, shrubs, trees, weeds and hauling all done well. No complaints. read more

Prompt and reliable. easy to work with. I highly recommend. Trustworthy and showa up on time.

I believe Radford provides yard services every Friday to my condo complex located in Upper Makakilo, and their work is terrible. All they do was basically cutting the grass, trimming bushes, and raking&blowing off afterward, but they don't clean up. Often times, they blow off the grass into back of the condo building without colleting them for clean up. They start working around 9 am and done by 2 or 230 pm; but half of those hours are their breaks. read more

Radford put in my mom's yard several years ago. It is still pristine and has made a huge difference in the amount of time that I now need to spend in the yard. Till this day, he is responsive to all of my requests. Great customer service! read more

Radford Yard Service - a view of a backyard - Landscaping Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I contacted Radford after seeing the reviews and was very impressed at how promptly he returned my call. We discussed the normal lawn maintenance including weed treatment and also trimming and maintenance of some trees that had gotten out of control. The difficulty with the trees involved them being on a narrow terrace where an A-frame ladder won't fit. Additionally we discussed trimming and maintenance of some palm trees on my property. Radford arrived earlier than agreed upon and quickly completed everything we discussed. I'm very satisfied with the results and found Radford and his team to be very polite, efficient and great at communicating exactly what work will be done. Cleanup was also very quick and immaculate using my green recycle bin. read more

We had let our yard go for months and it was extremely overgrown with pokeys and vines all over. Radford came by the same day I called him and gave me a quote that night. For the amount of work, it was a very reasonable price. He was able to get the work done in one day and left our yard looking great! He also followed up with us a month later to ask if we were still satisfied with his work. We had discussed a monthly maintenance and I think he charges a really affordable. Thanks, Radford! read more

Radford Yard Service give you value for you money! They work with efficiency and is very responsive to queries.

Radford was quick to respond, fast to quote, & fast to cut! Thank you for you & your team's hard work, Radford!

Radford was able to quickly and brilliantly step in when our long-time landscape maintenance company suddenly (and sadly) went out of business. Radford graciously accommodated our busy family schedule to meet with us on a weekend for our initial property walk-through (and punctually showed up a bit early, to bat!) and was very observant and proactive in offering insightful suggestions and constructive advice to improve the appearance and upkeep of our lot. He listened well and asked good questions to ensure that he completely and fully understood what we needed to have done and what our expectations were of him. He added that we can contact him anytime via phone call, text or email if any aspect of his service is not how we want it--outstanding! As he had promised at our first meeting, he pleasantly and conveniently contacted us the night prior to his first service date to confirm his scheduled appointment and provide us with a time window in which he was going to perform his work. He performed his work admirably well--exceptionally neat and very professional--and most importantly, completed exactly what we had agreed upon. We are quite pleased with Radford Yard Services and are thoroughly impressed with Radford's responsiveness and good communication--it's a relief (...sigh!...) to have found comfort in knowing that our landscape care is in good, trusted hands! MAHALO NUI LOA Radford! Cheers! PS--Check out the hours of operation indicated: daily from 6am to 11pm, during which he's reachable ... Dedicated to superior and flexible customer service, right on! read more

I called Radford based on Yelp reviews. Radford came over to my house and I described what services I wanted and I was quoted a price. I thought the price was reasonable and hired Radford for bi-weekly service. I can say that not once did Radford do all of the services promised. On several occasions, I called and texted asking him to come back to complete the work promised but that never happened. If you just need your grass cut and yard raked you should be okay, but if you want an actual landscape maintenance company (plant trimming, weeding, etc.) I would think twice about Radford's. read more

I needed someone to clear out a terribly overgrown yard. This was an aging parents house and as I live off island, was not able to maintain the yard in a reasonable way. I called around to numerous yard service people and the lack of response was disheartening. Radford promptly returned my call and had also provided the best quote to get the yard back in shape. I had also engaged his services for monthly service and I am so far very happy with the results. read more

Exceptional work and the price is right! They cleared our large back yard, which is on a slope, by cutting and discarding all debris. The work this team does is fast but very thorough. A plus is that they clean up after themselves, something that other yard services fail to do. read more

I had Radford and his crew come to my home a handful of times. Most of the crew lacked initiative, requiring me to pay close attention to them and direct them on what they should do. The one time Radford sent his crew on their own, they did a very poor job, claimed they were done after 20 minutes, and left. I talked to Radford about it on the phone and sent him a text of several pictures showing what hadn't been done such as weeding the front strip and trimming of dead leaves. On the next appointment, Radford came with his crew. While Radford was always nice, when I talked with the crew alone (while Radford was doing other work on the yard), I felt like they mocking me. My front hedge had been trimmed very badly, and they said, seemingly in a sardonic way, "Didn't we do a good job on the hedge?" It was very odd and uncomfortable. I talked with Radford about his crew and told him that their poor work and disposition may cost him business. Radford seems like a nice young man, but I'm not sure if he's experienced enough to train and manage the crew. Only one of the guys seemed like he knew what he was doing. Unfortunately, I simply can not recommend this yard service at this time. read more

OMG! What a mess. These guys don't come when they're supposed to. When the do show up, they make a MESS. When they promise to do something "next time," they disagree to do it when they come back. They put some of the trimmings sloppily into our 1 green barrel, then throw a messy, falling-down pile of cheap, super thin plastic bags of green trimmings in the general area of our front garage (we've had to re-stack the refuse each time, and the bags rip.) Each time these guys came they BROKE things in our yard-today, it was the wire fencing around my beloved dog's memorial. Last time they CUT DOWN my entire hibiscus bush and my succulents. We have a large corner lot, and these guys (2) we're here for less than 2 hours, did a CRAPPY job, left me hours of clean up...we paid $75 for this "regular" visit and over $200 for their first visit. :( Now I also have to replace the items that were damaged. DON'T HIRE THESE GUYS- YOU'LL REGRET IT. read more

Radford and his crew does a great job maintaining my yard. He comes twice a month to trim everything down.

Based on his high-rating on Yelp, I decided to call Radford to see if he could help me with my yard. I have a fairly large yard with thick, overgrown Zoysia grass. As promised, he showed up on time to give me a quote and his crew also showed up on the scheduled day to try to rehabilitate my lawn. When I got home that day, I was very pleasantly surprised with the job they did. It certainly exceeded my expectations and I will definitely have him come back regularly to keep my yard looking nice. If you need someone reliable to maintain your yard, do not hesitate to call him. read more

We found Radford on Yelp and we've been using his service for about a year. We are really happy with his attention to detail (including being mindful of the dogs in backyard), prompt services times, cleanliness and overall great work. I would highly recommend him and his team. They really care about how our yard looks and do a wonderful job! read more

Did a great job on my yard. Was able to come in last minute on a days notice, and quickly got the job done.

Highly recommended! Jose Radford worked with me to come up with a price I could afford for a severely overgrown yard. I know he and his crew worked very hard to do a job that another yard service never completed because they wanted to double their price in the middle of the job six months ago. This was worth my money and he's not done yet although I paid in full as the job looked completed to me. He wouldn't even take a tip I tried to give him! In my opinion, a man of his word taking only what he quoted me. read more

Just moved into a new house, had a overgrown yard. Called up Radford, came promptly the next day for an estimate. Thanks Radford! read more

Radford and his team did an excellent job today and we are so happy with the quality of service and care that we received. They were on time, worked super hard and our yard looks amazing now! My first call to this company and he answers! That's great service already. He said he was very busy but still took the time to answer my call and questions. Second, I asked him for a quote/estimate and sent him a couple photos of the area that needs cleaning and he replied within 15 minutes with an amazing quote. So amazed at the professionalism. So I'm definately hiring this company to do our yard services. We are not commercial, private home with minimal work. He didn't turn us down even if it's a very small job. If you're in the Salt Lake area, please call this company. I'm going to refer them to all my family and friends! read more

I am so happy we found Radord yard service. He turned our incredibly unappealing yard into what we wanted it to be. This company is easy to work with communication through text message and they offer a fair price. I didn't need landscaping as much as I needed help with bush-whacking. If I could give negative stars I would. I had a grad party, trusted them and they lied and said they came I didn't answer! My kids and I were home waiting for them, with the door open for hours! BAIT & SWITCH!!! Radford came to the house and gave me an estimate. It was to clear yard and haul rubbish away. He said he needs to bring 8 guys to the job, and needed an 8 hour day, possibly a second day. Great! Scheduled a day and took the day off. Had my son be home to wrangle my dogs. Radford shows up in a van. No truck, no one else. He said his "partner" said he bidded to low, and ADDED 60% TO THE PRICE, and he could come another day. REALLY?? I planned my day around this, and he doesn't show up with any intention to do the job. He kept saying his "partner" said the price was too low. CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH. I called Radford off of Yelp.com for an estimate for yard service. From that point on, he handled everything professionally and did everything I asked him to do and more, without complaint. He is very service-oriented, punctual, and does a very good job. The yard service was to cut the grass and kill the weeds, haul away and clean up. He did an outstanding job and his price was fair. When he billed me, he showed before and after photos of the lawn. I highly recommend him to take care of your yard service needs. read more

Radford Yard Service did an amazing job on my backyard. The yard was a mess to say the least, we had not done much with it for about 4 years. Radford came and gave me a free estimate that was extremely fair and reasonable. He and his partner showed up on time and had everything cleaned up in a very short amount of time, considering the work. We had called a couple of other lawn service providers and they laughed at us about the clean up job we had requested. The yard looks great and I can finally see the ground again. I highly highly recommend Radford Yard Service for any of your lawn care needs as they are extremely nice, punctual, reasonably priced, and most importantly, they did such a GREAT JOB.
