There's a little bit of something for everyone here, whether it's cute beach clothes, actual vintage clothes, jewelry both maximalist and more dainty, books for the avid reader, and toys and a whole kids section. They have a wine nook for those interested, and an adorable section of beach-themed Christmas ornaments, some even made from actual oysters. And naming each options of goods, they all have their own sizable sections. A big section for jewelry, an entire book nook, and big section for vintage clothes, etc. It's a lot of fun to wander through all of it. I would say the prices are a little higher than I prefer for most of the items. But they seem to be pretty nice quality so at least there's that. The gal that works behind the counter most days is also super friendly. Don't miss this adorable store towards the far end of Pine Ave on AMI!

Island Bazaar Gift Shop:…read more Island Bazaar Gift Shop has a wide variety of souvenirs and gifts, making it a convenient stop for finding something to remember your trip by. The shop is well-organized, and there are plenty of unique items to choose from. Although they used to have pet gifts and none were found on this visit, in fact we bought nothing... Our group found the prices to be a bit steep, which made it difficult to justify purchases. Island Bazaar Gift Shop is okay to visit if you're in the area and looking for souvenirs, but there's definitely room for improvement in terms of pricing and items presented. It's decent but it didn't quite meet expectation

This is the best beach boutique featuring the cutest glassware, home decor, dresses, accessories, jewelry, and more. The girls working are always so welcoming and you can tell that so much dedication has gone into owning such a beautiful shop. I visited in January and we got to speak with the owner about the hurricane damage and it was impressive to hear how they spent countless hours restoring the shop. I own a few rings from here that I wear all the time and the cutest AMI shirt that is unlike your typical t-shirt souvenir that you would find at a chain touristy shop. There is so much to see in this store and it is definitely worth your time to make a quick pit stop here on your next visit to AMI.

I want to like this place but now after multiple visits I have been disappointed by the quality and…read morestaff and won't be coming back. The outside is so nice and inside is decorated well (super dark though - poor lighting especially in the coffee shop). I first went a year ago and the coffee was poorly made (the beans they used then were from one of my favorite local roasters...the espresso shots were pulled incorrectly). Same thing this visit, everything was bitter and tasted burnt (we got multiple drinks for my family both visits). I asked about the beans and their onsite roaster to learn if they roasted everything or if they also used a local roaster and the barista was clueless and said "well they are beans and that's a roaster thing I guess?" The first visit the staff were just rude both the coffee shop and the overpriced store. This time no one was managing the store front and the baristas were so confused, could not keep orders straight and a line grew for people at the coffee shop that just wanted to buy something from the store. My son had ordered a croissant ($7) they called my name, my son went to grab it for me and the guy told him that is not his. I was there with him, told him my name and he said, no it is for someone else. So it sat there getting cold for almost 10mins while we waited for our coffee (meanwhile they were giving other people the wrong items). When my coffee order was ready I asked again and mentioned no one had taken the croissant and if I could now take it, he looked at me and almost said no but the other barista was like yea that is his. The outside gives this place the second star. Sadly the change in ownership has not improved the organization or level of quality. This past visit was on a Wednesday and not a peak time. I may have also just come on two really bad days looking at the other reviews. The prices warrant a better more consistent experience in my opinion.
