I'm aware of dealer service pricing, so I asked AI for service shops with reputations for honesty and integrity, and this place was one of the recommended shops. I made an appointment, which was very easy and quick, and Carlos took it in. He recommended reprogramming it, not replacing, got the problem corrected for about $800. Everything is now running smoothly. In addition he pointed out an issue with my battery connection, and I was able to take my car back to the quick oil change place I use and get them to fix it for free. Communication was very good with ASE throughout, they were very friendly and helpful, and I am very happy with the experience. Would definitely use them again!

First time writing a review on a business…read more... My car engine locked and needed my car fixed ASAP. Looked around and came across this business, I called and asked to see if they could fixed my car ( car needed a new engine) and how much would it cost. J.P. gave me a good quote and a quick turn around on the repair. Once the car was fixed, J P and I test drove the car. I was back in business. From this point on my car repairs will be going to J P. I highly recommend anyone needing help with car issues to call JP, him and his staff are very professional and honest. Thank you guys for being honest and friendly, see you soon for my oil change.

I brought my car here for a wheel bearing repair…read more The first time they tried to fix it, they put the bearing in wrong and it caused my wheel to shake on the road and it appeared the axle bolt was cut on my car with an angle grinder and it wasn't cut before... I brought it back to them. "Your safety is my number one priority." - Pete The second time he gave it back to me the car had a used wheel bearing from another car in it that is covered in rust (verified this from an ASE master mechanic who took the wheel off and inspected it), my windshield was cracked, my car was out of alignment, brakes were very squishy, my E-brake did not work at all, and my wheel that had the work done on it is now making a very loud POP! every time I go over any type of bump on the road with it. (I had gotten my car aligned less than 6 months prior and the steering wheel was perfectly strait when driving strait) "Your safety is my number one priority." - Pete After bringing my car back to at least have the brakes bled and the E-brake tightened, Pete was not there so I had to call him to figure out who to talk to in order to be helped. He told me to ask for a particular mechanic (forgot his name) who should be working there. I went around and asked the mechanics if any of them were who he told me to ask for and they all brushed me off and shrugged their shoulders. Finally, he just told me to just hand the phone to one of the guys because he knew they were toying with me. I tried and tried and tried to keep giving this shop the benefit of the doubt. To be patient and understanding. But the reality of the situation is they charged me full price for a rusty part that they had lying around their car lot and messed up more with my car than they "fixed". I still do not feel safe driving this car. "Your safety is my number one priority." - Pete

Ryan met me at my place for a free diagnostic. Didn't try and up-sell me on anything…read more Professional and knowledgeable is all I have to say. We had a full vehicle tuneup on my wife's Camry and let's just just say it was nothing but stellar. Belts, plugs and full brake work done in 2 hours at our home. Great work! Very disappointed with my experience with Ryan. My vehicle is a 2019 GMC Sierra, and I contacted…read morehim because my truck had a coolant leak and I already strongly suspected that the radiator needed to be replaced. Before coming out, he told me he would still need to diagnose it and charged me $115. After paying the $115 diagnostic fee, I was basically told exactly what I already knew, the radiator needed to be replaced. Then I was informed that he couldn't actually do the repair because the job required the A/C refrigerant to be recovered and he didn't have the equipment necessary to do that. His recommendation was for me to take the truck to a repair shop. My biggest issue is, if you're advertising yourself as a mobile mechanic/certified technician and charging $115 just to come diagnose a problem, I would expect you to either have the equipment necessary to perform common repairs or be upfront BEFORE charging the customer that you may not be equipped to complete the job. On top of that, I felt his labor quote was extremely high. He quoted me $700 JUST FOR LABOR to replace the radiator on my 2019 GMC Sierra. I ended up taking my truck to an actual radiator shop, and they charged me only $300 for the labor. That's a $400 difference for the same radiator replacement. So I essentially paid Ryan $115 to tell me I needed the radiator I had already told him I believed I needed, was quoted $700 in labor, and then was told he couldn't even perform the repair because he didn't have the necessary A/C equipment. Based on my experience, it left me feeling like collecting the diagnostic fee was more important than actually repairing my vehicle. I would not use this service again. I would strongly recommend asking exactly what equipment he has and whether he can actually complete your repair BEFORE agreeing to pay the $115 diagnostic fee.

Brian saved me time and money, and he did an excellent job on my car. The work completed was done quickly, and he even let me know about the warranty. Brian saved me $700+. It is very hard to come across such a good mechanic who has your best interest at heart, and Brian definitely was looking out for us and helped us out. I highly recommend Bednar Automotive, and we will continue coming here for work that needs to be done on my vehicles.
