I have been on a few distillery tours, and I found this one to be a bit casual and boring. It was super hot in there, so that might have been part of it too! I liked seeing the bottling station and some of the stuff shown was cool, but could have been half the time. After the tour, we came back to their small tasting and shop room with a bar and bar chairs. They lined up a BIG lineup of spirits and cordials to sample. This is the part I would have liked more time on! They handed out two, sometimes three of the samples at a time and spent barely any time talking about them, the flavors, and what went into creating them. And they were good - it was a shame to go so fast through them! Regardless, a fun free activity if you're a spirits fan and want to sample some. Support a local business and bring some minis or a bottle home. Oh - and they offer laser engraving for bottles and barrels!

Even if you have been to a rum tour before, this operation is small enough to make it a very intimate experience and learn something new. Both brothers know their stuff and teach about it from a unique perspective - small business owners within a small operation. The taste of the rum speaks for their quality and hard work. Their spiced rum is what a spiced rum is supposed to taste like. Their rum makes Captain Morgan taste like artificial hand soap. Very good quality and decent prices per bottle. They have a variety of drinks that they can create with their sprits. But I can see how the younger people would really enjoy they place and the cocktails. I don't know if they give tours, but that would be interesting to see their operation.
