I spent over an hour in there last week and didnt see a single employee on the floor. They have a very large selection, and lots of sizes on the floor, but seem to be very limited in wide sizing. I would have asked about it had I seen someone. They don't have the little protective footies anywhere that I saw either. One thing thats nice is they do have a nice selection of fancy handbags and purses. So if you're looking for one of those, this is a decent place to try and find one.

As you walk around you will find all of the major retailers and some good food places. I got a chance to stop and rest at one of the many seating areas when my wife went in to shop at her favorites. I also got a chance to take advantage of the Military Veteran discounts at some of the stores. Many are offered.

After doing several things to check my feet stability and gait, the salesperson (I wish I remembered his name because he was so helpful and patient) brought out 4 different brands and styles of sneakers for me to try on. All were very comfortable with each one fitting as good or better than the next. I finally chose a pair of Saucony sneakers, and I can't wait to start using them. I know that if for some reason they don't feel comfy, I can return them within 30 days. So, I always feel confident when buying sneakers here. Some might find it a little pricey, but I think it's a great deal knowing that I've purchased excellent quality sneakers for my feet from knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend The Running Center for sneakers to exercise/run in or for casual wear.

I did a cold search online to see what a hat would cost in Amazon and in another custom shop, and it's right on point, if not slightly less. I did get a pretty basic standard hat, but it's classic and beautiful, and if I'm going to own a cowboy hat, may as well get something that would go with anything and that I'd wear again. I came here one weekend and found some great deals and was super happy with my experience. Even some Goodwill stores have higher prices and Tampa Thrift seems a little more boutique style then it is true thrift so you just have to come in with that mindset, or don't come if you don't like it. What I like that they do here is a lot of big sales. Each day there's a specific tag color that's 50% off, and this is where I found some really great pick ups. They also have one weekend each month where the whole store is 50% off, which is super cool and probably the main time I'll come back. I thought the store was fairly clean overall. They do have a couple dressing rooms if you prefer to try stuff on, and a bathroom. As with most thrift stores, there's at least twice as many women's clothing options then men's. But as a woman I was impressed with the selection and range of brands they had here. They had a good selection of blazers, not only for men but specifically women's too- I found a super nice one almost brand new for $10. There were quite a few shoes as well- sneakers and sandals and in between, I snatched a cute lil pair of heels for like $7. Another nice thing, they had a lot of kids stuff here. I've found at most thrift stores it just depends if they have kids items, especially clothing but they had a whole section here for kids clothes, as well as toys and stuff. During my time in the store I was greeted, asked if I needed any help and had enough space to really shop without being bothered. However, when they noticed my arms were getting too full, they brought me a shopping bag. The retail workers answered my questions and when I went to check out, they double checked one of the sizes I was buying to make sure I wasn't buying the wrong size (it was much larger than the rest of the sizes I was buying as a gift). They also made sure I had the right amount of clothing to get the "buy one get" deal. The music they were playing might not be for all tastes, but was enjoyable for me and put me in a good mood. The store was very organized and clean, so it was easy to find the sizes and styles I was looking for. I'll definitely be back.
