My son's friends came with us, so we all had such a great time and ordered basically anything we wanted. Our sausage appetizer was really good, as was our entrees and desserts. And don't forget to order beer! I lived in Germany for a time and cafe bahnhof was as authentic as you can get. Actually better in my opinion. I even met Dieter, the owner, and he was as nice as can be! I can't wait until the bier garten opens up. Next time I go I'm getting the Schweine Haxen! It looked fabulous and yes you do see it on the menu everywhere in Germany.

We were also told that we could not "just hang out" in the establishment and were instructed to leave, which was both confusing and inappropriate given that we were with paying customers. Additionally, our identification was taken without any effort to offer service after twenty minutes. We were not asked if we would like to order drinks or even offered water. When service was eventually provided to the table, the waitress displayed a dismissive attitude and ultimately returned by placing the bill on the table in a disrespectful manner. At no point before leaving were we given the opportunity to order or be properly served. This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable.

Best steak in the area, served with a side of sexual harassment!…read more I was at Charlie's Bar on May 7, 2022 around 7 pm with 3 male friends. We had come in to play some pool, get a few beers and of course get some good food. My friends ordered their food and I was playing pool with one of the guys I had come with. This was the 4th game I was playing because I was winning. As I bent over the table, to make a shot, I felt someone's hand slide up my bottom and between my legs. I quickly turned around to see a heavy man, who I had never seen before. I hollered out "Don't fu**ing touch me!!", quite loudly. This man then sat back down with his table of friends. They all started laughing. I put my pool stick down on the pool table and stormed outside. I calmed down after a bit and came back inside. I noticed the creep was still sitting with his friends. I asked the owner, Dave, why he was still at the bar after touching me. Dave told me he talked to that man and he said he "only touched me on the back". The guy playing pool with me saw the whole thing and had told Dave exactly what happened. I told Dave that he did not touch me on the back. At this point Dave had the audacity to tell my other friend that if I didn't calm down I would have to leave since there were kids eating in there. Really....???? We all decided to leav and not cause a scene. We would not lower ourselves to his level!!! After some investigation I found out the POS's name, as a warning to all ladies that want a good steak, but don't want to be sexually assaulted. NIP PAGE!! Dave, shame on you for not kicking him out and letting a lady feel safe in your bar. A bar that I had come in several times.

Unless you are used to this environment, there is no way you can be prepared for what you might see. There might be people walking around with no shoes on, in wheel chairs, and old men without teeth. This is spectacular for people watching and later story telling. The crowd is "diverse," by Enid, OK standards. This is the only dance floor in the whole town, so everyone comes here. However, it's pretty segregated in the sense that ethnic groups keep to themselves and take turns using the dance floor. The dj will play country, and all the cowboys (white folks) will be out two-stepping. Then they'll play hip-hop and all the brown skinned people (and the wanna-bes) will come out. We visited on a Saturday night around 6 and the place was deserted. And, there was some sort of festival going on downtown so I was expecting a wait on a table. Nope. It was us and a family. A few singletons wandered in while we were there. First off, it's a small place and not what I expected. They only had a few of their own beers on tap. I went with an EBC Strawberry-Rhubarb. It was good and I would order it again. I was expecting more of their beers but they did round out the tap selection with other OK beers. The Hubs had a Roughtail. We were starving so I ordered the smoked brisket mac 'n cheese and he ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza. We specifically asked if the pizza was good and made in house (because honestly, I was getting the vibe that this might be a heat 'n eat kind of place). We were told they make their own crusts. They do but know that it is a totally whole wheat crust, quite dark and doughy. It's just a different take on pizza. If there was chicken on the pizza it was very finely chopped. It was almost like they used a Buffalo chicken dip for the topping. The mac 'n cheese was unremarkable and the brisket was doused in BBQ sauce. We didn't finish either. Service was friendly and I hope we just caught them on a bad night. I was just expecting a lot more. I would visit again. I love hometown breweries and that's probably why this is a three star and not a two.
