This is the spot to grab a burger in Alva, and they also happen to have a pretty dope fried chicken sandwich. The server was on her game and the hamburgers were cooked just as we ordered them. We kind of just stumbled into The Angry Bull Saloon by chance, and while we come back to Alva throughout this deer season, we plan on frequenting The AB on our future trips out here from Tulsa. read more

Food is above average. Hours are variable depending upon how staff feels. They say 2am but normally means 1030pm. Great place to grab an old school afternoon lunch although be prepared to be told they might be out of that item. If you're looking to stop for a smoke and a cold one just keep driving. Smoking is pretty much frowned upon like taxes. I gave it 3 stars because it's above average and it is because the food is great whenever they have it. read more

Another review mentioned the honky tonk on the jukebox. You're likely to hear almost any type of music depending on the hour and the clientele. What you won't hear is any Latin music. Someone in control of their internet jukebox settings has decided that that's the ONLY available genre they would filter out. I'm very disappointed by this racist policy. This was a fun place for us to visit during our business trip. Food is solid (great burgers) and the ambiance is fun and airy. We honestly were not sure what to think by the outside appearance but never the less this was a very pleasant surprise. This place was awful, at least service wise. I don't know if it was our table or what, but our waiter dude forgot about us constantly. We were there for almost two hours because it took him thirty minutes to come take our order and he didn't bring our drink for another 15-30 minutes after that. Also their menu is pretty limited to BBQ and burgers, which if fine just something that people should note. My food was cold when I got it (along with most of my friends) and everything would have been okay if the waiter really tried to help us. He served other tables that walked in after us a lot more and I saw him playing something on his phone right by the pool tables. I didn't come for the bar so I don't know how good that is. read more

First time trying this place as we are just passing through. Food smells great from out side so we had to try it! We had the brisket and the pulled pork both were great it didn't need any sauce but I had to try what they had and it was pretty good. Only complain I have would be the portions were on the small side but I didn't leave hungry either. We stopped in for a quick happy hour. Either the record screeched when we walked in or the music wasn't playing. Auntie Susie took care of that when she fired up the jukebox with some honky tonk. The waitress promptly took our order. The beer selection was limited to what you'd expect in small town OK but they have plenty o spirits. I sipped my Jameson while some local boys played pool. The place is a bit smokey but worth a stop. We may stop by next Christmas or Memorial Day, when we come back to town, and try out the dance floor. read more

This is by far the best place in Alva to get a Busch light. Wings are phenomenal, especially with the reaper sauce. I've tried everything here from salmon to steak to a Reuben sandwich and never had a bad meal. read more

It's very nice. Love the Sixty inch screens located all around the establishment. Great selection, reasonably priced and the bartenders are the greatest! They make me feel like family. It's clean, very open and plenty of comfortable seating with a very long bar and three different stations so no waiting. Can't wait until they start serving food! I give it five stars because it is an all around great place full of good people. I live in Stillwater and the Angry Bull would be a hit here. Well definitely go back. read more

It was very unprofessional and so disappointing how our bartenders treated us AFTER they received their very hefty tip for the evening. If the bartenders working tonight wanted us to leave, than maybe do a last call instead of resorting to insults at 1:45 a.m. Mind you, I used to be a bartender under the same management at Cowboys Saloon (now closed). There is a right way and a wrong way to treat respectable customers and boy do the employees working tonight have it wrong (besides Mike). If the girlfriend that was with me tonight and I could take back our tips we would. After all, we were just there to watch our husbands play a few games of pool. Ladies & gent - if you want to get anywhere in this great big world of opportunities, learn how to be respectful to others. Learn how comply with costumers. Insulting won't get you far in any aspect of life. I've been in your shoes - working at a bar. You get noncompliant costumers on more occasions than not; treat them how you need too, but don't be hateful and disrespectful to a couple friendly and respectable ladies just wanting to finish their conversation before 2 a.m. After all, we don't get out much, but the next time we do it will be elsewhere. We eat here at least once a week. The food is always very good and the bar is very clean. I love the shrimp and the chips. My husband gets a burger and fries. The service is good and the wait staff is friendly. The drinks are always tasty! I would recommend this place to everyone. read more
