Let's begin with... Leisa Newby was a GODSEND for us…read more If you are starting to plan your wedding/commitment ceremony, I understand the fear and confusion you are experiencing right now. I had absolutely NO idea where to start or even the questions to ask. I searched, read about and investigated so many different places to hire, and always walked away with the feeling that I was just another customer. That was not the feeling we were going to accept for our very important day. We were determined to make our day one where everyone was as happy to be there as we were, including our caterer. Our friend Lori introduced us to Leisa, and we are eternally grateful. The very first meeting with Leisa convinced us we were going to be working with her. She put us at ease immediately stating that it will be what we want at a price that will fit our budget. She didn't disappoint! Here's the kicker... Leisa showed up to find that most everything that was promised to work at this event place was in fact not working or was not working up to expectations... but we did not find out about these issues until AFTER our ceremony. That's right, no excuses, no bellyaching and most importantly no worries were revealed to us while we were busy trying to get everything completed for our big day. She even gave us samples of her delicious treats while we were setting up the hall and always with that beautiful smile on her face! Leisa Newby is a true professional! She was an integral part of our very special day, and also took time to talk with our family and friends about her wonderful spread. Each item was delicious and beautiful... and perfect. You will be making a wise choice with Everyday Gourmet, and wonderful friend with Leisa Newby. Most sincerely, -Michelle Locke and Kai Hellyer

Cooking at home for a large group sounded even more daunting, and I'm no slouch in the kitchen! With one phone call to Everyday Gourmet, everything started to fall amazingly into place. Leisa took great care in talking through choices and options to make our family dinner completely customized - from finalizing the menu, to working within our budget; she made it all very easy. Once the evening was upon us, we were all very excited...Leisa came in like a modern day "Mary Poppins of the kitchen," while we visited over drinks in the living room, wonderful smells started to waft through our home, and delicious food began appearing...it was delightfully surreal. Leisa interacted with our group perfectly by explaining the food and answering questions, and she complimented our evening with her professional and likable disposition. When the night was winding down, I walked in to find Leisa drying the last of the dishes - to my amazement; my kitchen looked exactly the same way it did when she'd arrived!! I wanted to applaud. And off Mary Poppins went with a smile on her face... Tell everyone who will listen, call Leisa at Everyday Gourmet!!! Thank you once again , we'll be calling you soon ;) Paige Cummings, Roswell GA

Unless Caesar was in the kitchen pouring the salad out of the bag, there wasn't anything Italian about this opening course. Dried out frozen rosemary chicken breast, not sure what the secret is to the broccoli casserole, but I'd like to keep it that way. And you have to pay a $1 for a to go box? Seriously the only reason we needed it was to feed the rest of our chicken to the dog... This place is a joke the olive garden could teach them a WHOLE lot and that's not saying much!

We chose a chicken dish and portabella mushrooms as our two entrees. We then had a beautiful salad and two vegetable sides for dinner. She also provided a beautiful charcuterie tray to start the night as well as infused water to accompany the meal. She arrived at the home early with her partner and set up the buffet. They were both friendly, professional and attentive to our needs. It was beautifully presented and kept fresh for the evening. Sadly the cold slaw was t as tasty or fresh. The fries definitely made up for it, though. It wouldn't be right if I left an Irish bar without drinking whiskey so I ended my meal with a shot of Jameson's. Good food at affordable prices. PS the bathroom sign made me giggle

My friend and I were so looking forward to this groupon experience, but were sorely disappointed…read more First let me say that the service was excellent, and we enjoyed eating outside where the atmosphere and music were pleasant. The scones and sweet breads and spreads were very good, but the sandwiches were not. We chose the triple decker ham and cheese and they used the end of the loaf for the middle slice. Our second sandwich was mozzarella and sundried tomato and basically that's all it was..on your choice of bread. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a couple cherry tomatoes, onions and Chinese noodles. For dessert, we were served three small cookies and a mini cream puff each. The cream puffs were obviously the frozen kind you can buy at Sam's and two of our cookies were burnt. Our groupon clearly stated that our meal included a glass of champagne. It was also printed on our menu. When we asked about it, we were told that it doesn't include that anymore and if we wanted a glass, it would cost an additional $3.50. We were glad we didn't spend full price for this meal. It definitely would not be worth it. The food was ordinary.
