We ended up doing an in-home session based on the weather and time of year, as well as ease for our family. Rachel was so accommodating when it came to scheduling. On the day of our session, she arrived promptly and was so very easy and comfortable to work with. Our six year old daughter loved her and we knew that this was a great idea. Rachel spent a good hour with us and none of it felt rushed or posed. Rachel had a teaser of our photos up on Instagram within hours and it was lovely. We chose Rachel for both our maternity and newborn photo shoot based on reading the previous reviews and we couldn't be happier. Honestly I can't say enough wonderful things about her she was professional, personable, understanding, flexible, had great suggestions, was nurturing to our newborn and really captured the moment. In our maternity shoot we walked all over the neighborhood capturing different back drops, did a wardrobe change, and had to get our puppy to cooperate and she was completely understanding. Then she came to our house for our newborn photo shoot and I had a list of ideas that I wanted to capture and she patiently worked with us to make sure we got everything we wanted and more! We have done 3 photo sessions with Rachel and loved every single moment of each one! She is so talented!! Her work is outstanding, but what sets her apart is her personality. I was looking for a natural light photographer to capture my son's 6 month photos and some family photos. I am so happy I found Rachel's website and that she was available for our shoot. Rachel was professional, flexible, and a pleasure to work with! We wanted outdoor photos in the middle of winter, so we knew there would be some risk associated with the colder temperatures and an unpredictable infant! Rachel made us comfortable during the photo session, and even went out her way to change the location last minute. She was also able to secure a permit to take photos at a park on short notice.
