Next, she did a photo shoot for a friend of mine and the pictures turned out fabulous so I knew these were going to be good! Lastly, and this was a big one, she came to my house and did the photo shoot in our living room which made it so much easier for my family. I was photographing my daughter who is 1 and has her own set of needs at this age in contrast to my son, who is 2 (nuff said). The only thing is... the picture was from 1938 and was of the Hatfield Family from the Hatfield and McCoy family feud. It's also the original picture and last photo of the Hatfield family during the last family reunion. my grandfather was 6yrs old in this photo. I just had to get a copy of our huge family from this major point in our American History. S&S photography went above and beyond!! not only did they do this project for me last minute- the day before I was leaving to head back home- but they made me TWO copies and they did it in less than 6hrs PLUS framed them for me in way that it looks just like the original picture frame. the copies that were made were even brightened to be able to see the details in the photo better. on top of that, they also copied my great-grandmothers handwriting onto the back of both copies. The reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because I was treated disrespectfully by Tina. We had rented white table linens and when they were put on the tables we noticed stains on all but 1. Large stains. When my husband contacted her she said that these were the only white ones they had, at this point in time, but that she would bring ivory ones or give us a refund. Well we didn't have a choice because the event was the next day so we told her to bring the ivory ones. She told us if we wanted perfect linens we should want new ones. When she delivered the ivory ones she told me I needed to quit being so OCD about them and that even new ones have spots on them. She took no responsibility for the stained linens. She was very rude to me and made comments about it not being her fault we waited too late to rent. Well I live in Arizona and just traveled in for the holidays and the party, and my sister, who rented the stuff, also lives out of town. She said they don't normally rent them but she did it for us (although table linens are listed on the rental page on their website). I don't expect perfect, but I at least expect clean. I don't think I would be so mad if she had been nicer about it all, but as a business owner/manager( or whatever she is) it is her responsibility to make sure what she gives to customers is good quality. Especially if she is going to charge $90 for 7 table linens. I don't mind paying that, but I expect good quality. Thankfully our event went well and nobody noticed that the table lines were ivory but the other things were white.

Sorority Sisters and I stopped here yesterday and the Welcome Center building itself appears to be brand new! I don't recall it having the current configuration; however, it's been a while since I've been here. The interior was spotless! The man working the counter was extremely friendly, and the entire interior smelled fresh and clean! There was a large screen TV over the interior counter, and rows and rows of organized pamphlets, maps, brochures, etc. with maps on the walls. The bathroom was modern, again, *clean* and well stocked with lots of stalls for the ladies and ample countertop space. The exterior grounds were equally spotless. There were people walking their dogs along the sidewalks, an employee picking up trash, and numerous covered, wheelchair accessible concrete patio tables available. There is a really pretty section in the front with an American flag, other flags and monuments, we did not browse through. This is a really nice rest stop to get a snack, or a drink, pick up some regional information, ask the clerk any relevant questions, and I think you are allowed to leave a vehicle there up to four days, however, make sure you check their website about that. They also transformed a Sunday School room to make an exceptionally elegant bride's room. They provided most of the design ideas and all the material and labor. They were a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the results. The pictures really don't do it justice. Pam and Todd went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.
