The student is held at a much higher standard, causing there to be many restrictions, even in the higher grades. Most teachers care not only about what they teach, but the students themselves. While this school excells in teaching work habits, it seems somewhat lacking in teaching social habits. You will most likely not have the same social-life experience that most high schools offer. Relationships between students seem strictly taboo similarly to relationships with coworkers. Despite this, I found my best friend here, and had a wonderful experience I will never forget. She hires like minded people that are just nasty. Turnover in the administration is shockingly high; and sadly it's the good people that leave. Something like 7 people quit this year? She is also someone who, given the extremely diverse community at Rochambeau (now, I believe over 80 nationalities represented!) is comfortable and informed about the world! No school is perfect--I know of highly rated private schools in the DC area where students struggled with math and parents were paying upwards of $45k a year! Communication is a struggle at times with the administration--but they have listened from American parents and have grown tremendously, for instance now making sure all parent/family programs are in English and French. Rochambeau is an amazing global education with incredibly dedicated teachers at a reasonable price point. I highly recommend it to parents looking for a school that invests in the children and an international education!

It's hard to believe how much she has grown since the day she walked in! The teachers were all incredible. My daughter still talks about how much she loves them. The academics here are amazing, as well. I feel like my daughter is way ahead of some of her peers, reading before she's even entering kindergarten. The administration has also been wonderful. The front office is always so friendly and helpful. What we loved most was that this felt like a place where our daughter was known. I've met a lot of friends myself through Manor, as well. We are so grateful for the years we had here and would recommend this school to anyone!

Now, with the exception of the students lending a hand of almost nothing (one didn't know the street that was facing the exit & the other didn't know how to exit to the parking lot), hope they are getting good grades nonetheless. Upon entering there were a few group of campaign workers who respected people's space & not force any persuasion. The signage made it easy to get to the polling place that was located in the Gymnasium, check in & cast your ballot. Thanks to the Volunteers for making the Voters comfortable while casting their votes. This polling location was open to 7PM.

Each class is followed by a study hall, so students get the support they need and never bring home homework or projects. If you have a student that needs a flexible schedule, due to sports, or if you have a child with special learning needs, Fusion is a great fit. We turned to Fusion because our child had school anxiety and needed more of a 1:1 approach. The transformation has been amazing. The teachers and staff are wonderful and they have plenty of activities for the students to participate in. It's really a wonderful learning environment.
