One day I discovered Dr. Robert Yu. Read about him, I saw the picture, serious and calm man, and I thought to myself "This is the one". I have been going to him for few years, trying to fix the damage done by another doctor - Dr. Crawford. Yes, the one that had interview with the local TV, the one who after procedure have no time for you, and who's wife at the counter yelled at me for rescheduling an appointment. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yu and his office girls. So gentle, so caring, so intelligent. Every year he is attending classes in EU to update his knowledge with the latest in dentistry. If you see his office, you will know that the equipment and the services he performs are different quality, from others. You don't feel the needle with anesthesia, implants are ceramic, one piece and much more. But the most important fact is:: He cares about the patient, he will not compromise for more expensive procedures, something many others do. And when the dentist cares more about money, the service you get won't be what you need and possibly create more problems. That is exactly what happens to me, and Dr. Yu has fixed everything. Knowing so many others, I am afraid to visit another dentist. Be very careful when you choose one. Your teeth are very serious business! Never write a review right after you had something done. The problem is treated, you feel good, but what happened after the anesthesia wear off? Always wait few months, at least. I made that mistake and many others have too. Then is not so easy to write a bad review for many people. It is not a happy experience, and some people don't care about others health being compromised.

I called Dr. Quesada- Fox's office because they are close to my home and accept my insurance. I got way more than I bargained for. Their staff was friendly and warm, got me on the schedule much quicker than expected. They were awesome when I arrived for my first appointment and examination. The doctor took her time to get to know me and did a comprehensive examination. I've already been referred to an endodontist for some additional work and have a cleaning scheduled. Their follow up is impressive, and I am actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Dr. Quesada-Fox is the only dentist in the area that I have been to, or that my friends have been to, who is as good with her patients as she is. I am sensitive to epinephrine and pain medicine does not last once you get it in me. Dr. Quesada-Fox listened to my concerns and addressed each one individually. When it came time to numb my mouth she said that it wasn't on at all what I was saying and she actually believed me. As she was working she repeatedly checked on me to make sure that I was not in any pain at all. Here's the skinny: The good: She is well educated, well experienced, and as friendly as you can get. Her staff are friendly, funny, and very accommodating. Once you go there you are no longer just a patient, you become a friend, and they will go out of their way to make sure that you are taken care of. Her hours are awesome, they work late in the evening so people who have jobs can actually go to the dentist without having to take off work and lose money. This is wonderful because you can't afford to go to the dentist if you don't have money, and you won't have money if you have to take off of work to go to the dentist. The bad: The staff is so funny you forget that you are actually afraid of the dentist. Some people like to hold onto this fear. They keep you out of pain and they treat you so nicely you really have nothing to complain about. For people who like complaining, this is a bad thing. The skinny: If I could uproot the office and move them with me, I would. I am leaving Florida in a few weeks and I am actually contemplating flying back for any dental work I have to have done. They are just that great.
