My face looked flawless and my skin still managed to look like skin under all the makeup. I will definitely be using them again for all of my hair and makeup needs in the future. When you find a good glamsquad you keep them! So glad to have had these ladies working on set! So many times as an actress of color we get saddled up with unprofessional makeup artists. I say unprofessional because if you are unable to slay all races then you ought to decline working on sets with actors with features out of your scope... makeup is about colors so if you can't work with different canvases, keep practicing and studying or find another line of work.

Someone already asked me for the info of where I went because my skin looked amazing. And beyond that, Candace has the best personality - so kind and warm and calming and present. I left feeling like I'd spent time with a friend (who was pampering me). Candace started off the 90 min luxury facial (HIGHLY recommend) with a chat about my skin routine and some very personalized and helpful recommendations on how to best care for my skin and what types of products to use. I felt like my skin was in good condition but it did feel a little dry/scaly and it's been so moisturized and supple since the facial. She also did a long massage over my face, neck, shoulders and chest and it was so soothing I almost fell asleep. It's honestly the most relaxed I have been in so long. And I was amazed by how many extractions of clogged pores she was able to release. I've never seen my nose look so smooth and clear. Her salon is simple - no bells and whistles. Just a charming, comfortable space with privacy and excellent treatment. I will definitely be returning!

How do I begin to start saying how amazing Soreya is! Coming from a picky, meticulous bride, I…read morepromise you, that means a lot. I can really see how she goes above and beyond to make her clients happy. I searched high and low for a hair stylist that can do hollywood waves for my wedding, that was still available due to every covid bride postponing their wedding, and was reasonably priced. The trial: Soreya was super flexible with scheduling and understanding that with covid, it was really hard to plan when we didn't know if the salon would be open or if I would be able to travel out of town from SF. Before I came down for the trial, she already prepped me and told me what hair extension brand worked best in her past experience. She even gave me her salon discount to get it! Even without it, it was still super affordable, great quality, and she helped me color match it to my hair. Not all extensions can hold a curl from for the entire wedding and look fabulous in every pic from beginning to end. Soreya did not disappoint with this recommendation. My wedding hair held for 12 hours! I highly highly recommend paying for the trial. I understand as a bride, you want to find ways to save money where you can, but don't skimp out on this. This is where we found out my fine hair didn't have the strength to hold all the wax spray and product she normally puts on her bride's hair. My hair only lasted for 3 hours after the trial. When I told her this, she fixed it and got my hair to stay the entire wedding after the feedback. She's super sweet and really easy to talk to. She gave me tips during the trial about how to nourish my hair and scalp to which I followed and loving the results to this day. The wedding day: Soreya was on time and worked around my MUA to get me and my mom's hair done. My MIL got her hair done by another hair stylist but Soreya was sweet enough to fix it when she complained it didn't have enough volume for her. When Soreya was done with my hair and asked me to look at myself, I nearly broke into tears just overwhelmed with how beautiful it turned out. I couldn't believe that was myself and seeing my little girl dreams all come to life. My bridesmaids cried watching me be so happy and had to quickly stop me from messing up my fresh makeup hahah. I was so happy and so thankful for Soreya. Don't bother reading anymore and just look at my photos yourself. The proof is all in the photos after all. I promise you won't regret hiring Soreya for your special day!
