A little nervous reviewing this gem of a gas station for fear I will have to wait in a long line…read morefor breakfast. Its a regular gas station. Nothing special. Inside however, is a mexican grill and cart in the front corner with usually two Mexican ladies. I normally wouldnt have ever bought food from a gas station but it looked so clean and they reminded me of my mom so I gave them a try. They make fresh handmade corn tortillas and the best breakfast tacos you can get anywhere around. I have stopped and bought a dozen variety tacos to share with co workers several times since. They all enjoy them and eat them up. When asked where I got them I tell them the gas station!! To their amazement and surprise. Lol. Usually met with a grin and nervous smile but I mean they have gotten used to the idea now. The tacos are really really good and really full! They sell lunch too but I usually only can make it in for breakfast. They sell tamales that are really good. I've had their enchilada plate and guisado lunch plates as well which were good but the breakfast is the best.

Located at Bingle and Hempstead, this tiny lot is crowded with a taco truck during the day. This is the opposite of a popular slogan "everything is big in Texas". Everything is cramped in a smaller footprint. Inside of store is not inviting if your body is wide or require mechanical means to maneuver. But it has everything I need. I could not get a clear answer from the staff about the store hours. There ain't a sign posted. So I know it's closed completely at night, including gas pumps.

Gas flows quickly into my tank and the outside credit function works. However, one of my fill ups at this location didn't give me a receipt and stated that I had to come inside and get it. I know it's my laziness to not go inside to get it, but that's why I decided to pay OUTSIDE. I don't know if that's just one pump that's affected by that malfunction, but most of the time I can get a printed receipt. Parking lot stays pretty busy because of the washateeia next door, but not to the point that you can't maneuver to the pumps or find a parking space. Location is off Hirsch and Little York, so depending on where you're headed, take the time to figure out the be at way to leave the location yo avoid fighting your way into traffic.
