As my hubby and I were waiting in the Subway line for our sandwich, there was a man (I'm assuming management) and lady watching over the registers. The subway employee was making herself a coffee and the manager was talking with the lady and another cashier about the employee and were laughing. They kept calling out her name and laughing, mocking her for being upset for whatever reason. Mocking her in Spanish "qué pasó" and would continue to laugh and speak about her in their language. When the employee approached them, that manager in a LOUD manner to where the CUSTOMERS heard, was telling her to do a task in the back and she nodded her head (agreeing to the task) and was proceeding to walk away until he starts to rush her and telling her to do it but in Spanish "APÚRALE APÚRALE APÚRALE". And her facial expression showed no appreciation to his jokingly insults. He has NO right to speak to her, and mock her to that lady and the other cashier, to be laughing at her?? AND SPEAKING TO HER IN THAT WAY IN PUBLIC?? I am DISGUSTED. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. SUCH AN EMBARRASSMENT!!!!!!!!!

Today however, the Exxon Mobile at the corner opened up. No lines. Thank goodness the whole waiting in line for gas thing is over since more stations are opening up. Yes... gas is expensive. Yes... the days of 1.26 gas prices are gone. Yes... blame whatever and whoever you want to the rise in gas prices. Yes... gas stations are ripping off customers by charging .30 to .40 more than what it was before the storm. It is what it is. No... this particular gas station did NOT raise their prices. In fact, it's exactly the same price as it was BEFORE Ike. $3.39. It didn't move. This is how much they charged last Thursday. This is how much they're charging today. Thank you for not charging $3.69 or $3.89 like some stations. I'd also like to add how spacious and clean, extremely clean this Exxon is. Everything on the shelves were in perfect order and their floors were super clean. They also have music playing on speakers outside while you're pumping gas. How refreshing. AND their low carb Monsters are still 3 for $5.

I like it -- no complaints from me-- the cashier is friendly when the pumps aren't working. Also during the colder months, they have firewood if that is an issue for you. Last Friday I was running out of gas and this was the closest gas station to my house. I usually go…read moreto Kroger, but there was too much traffic at that time, so I gave it a try. Biggest regret ever! There was a card reader on the pump and I only found out after my bank reached out to me due to suspicious activity on my account and it took place in California. We're currently disputing the charges (close to $1K) and hopefully I'll get my money back. I certainly learned my lesson from this terrible experience. First, always have gas on your car & secondly always check for card readers.
