While I was here, my wife suggested I pick up a Powerball since it was over $400 million so I bought a couple of quick picks. When she gave my my picks, there were on the Mega Millions and not the Powerball but she did correct it and gave my what I had requested. Looking over the truck stop, not very well organized and the restrooms definitely could use a little TLC

Plus, they are in a convenient location and it's easy to get in and out of. I wanted to wash my windows and all the buckets were bone dry. Bummer! When I was done pumping I had a pop up on the screen to see the cashier for a receipt. No biggie since I wanted to get some snacks anyway. To my surprise, the main store was closed. Huh? You could get gas, but not shop...not a soul in sight. Very strange. No snacks or a receipt for me! I'm sure there is a staffing shortage or something. In the big picture...I'm just happy I could still get gas {and cheaper}! Woot!

Their men's bathroom is spacious and clean - big enough to freshen up, not just use the facilities. There is a Hardee's connected to Love's. We grabbed a couple of biscuits and, not surprisingly, the wait took a bit - just like home! Overall, this Love's a good spot. Nothing special about it (outside of it looking brand new), but it's excellent that there's nothing terribly wrong with it. I'll keep this spot in mind whenever I'm traveling on 85. Unfortunately this place was backed up at the big rig fuel islands but everyone followed the trucker's protocols so the line moved fairly quickly. The staff at the fuel counter were friendly and professional, I over estimated the gallons I needed to pump just to ensure my tank was completed filled which required a second trip inside to get my actual receipt. Looking at the condition of the fuel islands it shows how busy this stop is, the pump lanes could use a good pressure washing and the paper towel holder and hand sanitizer dispensers needed some attention, it was nice to see the bug sponges were new and the buckets were filled with soapy water. I would return if and when I'm back in the area, the entrance and exit drives were well marked and provided easy access to and from the interstate..l

This gas station is only about a mile from the Interstate and it is well worth it making the trip…read more Diesel was 2.889 on the 15th and so was on August the 8th on my way to the mountains while Flying J and Pilot charge about 3.199 on the average I don't get it lower than a quarter of a tank and that means I generally need about 15 to 18 gallons. Do your math, it is well worth it to drive a mile even if I only get 18MPG doing so Will stop any time I am in the area.
