We told them again we would be in late that same week for the truck. Jan 16, Friday, we called to pay for the repair by phone, so we could pickup our truck Saturday . We were told they had not even started our repair yet! I scrambled to call around to find a rental car for the weekend. I finally found one available at Budget-it cost $300! We drove there first thing Monday, only to find they had just pulled our truck into the shop then proceeded told us that they had no idea when they would finish the job that it could take a few more days! I was very upset and told him how he cost us money and he did not care. He admitted he lost the keys and waited 5 days before calling us to tell us! He also admitted he failed to get our truck into the shop in over 3 weeks time, knowing we were coming back to no vehicle and he then admitted not having anyone let us know it was still not completed or why. No follow up, no customer service. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL. JUST AN OBSTINTANT and ARROGANT ATTITUDE. ONLY INCOMPETANCE FROM THE START. I would not trust this place, as they have proven to be unreliable and incompetent when you need them most!

They have seasonal stuff for the holidays for sale, T-shirts for the local high school football team--stuff like that, too. Highlights: A good selection of pure cane syrup and cane syrup blends--this is important for Southern cooking. We need the pure for our biscuits and the blends for baking. Also has some Goodman's brand extracts but not the full line. You'll have to drive up to Madison to the IGA there for the full line and I and others do, no joke. We Southern folk take our baking real seriously. Also good selection of Nettle's sausages and Gilley's jams and jellies. The produce is normally good but a lot IS local which means it's gonna be what's in season: don't expect things out of season to be local or to be very good, either. Prices are fair, staff are friendly, you can't ask for a lot more.

They also have a thriving little restaurant inside that was quite crowded considering the small size of the town. I tried a roasted chicken leg and it was tasty. The produce all looked fresh and nice and I didn't see anything that would make me uncomfortable in this entire store. It's definitely not the Walmart supercenter but I think that's the whole point.
