They have a little bit of everything -- vintage items mixed into collectibles and actual antiques. A bit of furniture, some clothes; a nice selection of jewelry; a few books and magazines; but a lot of China, bric a brac, and household items. Like everywhere else, it pays to know what the market values are. And I always like checking the current prices being charged for things I grew up with. I did wind up buying a lovely bracelet here. And got a very good price on it. It's the kind of place you need to walk through several times. There's a lot of items and you won't see everything the first time around.

It's a high end, classy consignment shop that is perfect for the Bocaite or wealthy female tourist looking for something else expensive to wear -- lots of clothes, shoes, and jewelry plus purses, etc. -- but not as expensive as something that would be full retail. Prices here are not cheap nor inexpensive, but quite a lot of the items are of high quality or recognizable label to begin with. Definitely not the place to come if your main thrust is to find a bargain. If you realize this, you'll know whether this is the right place for you or not.

Front door handle was broken so when entering you have to pull the right side- Staff throughout and helpful-. Some antique places you could feel them watching you like a hawk- but this one was not like it.. There was a giant unicorn staged outside of the business next to the front door, which created a strategic marketing technique to let the public know "We're Open for Business". The shop was packed to the hilt with nostalgic items which instantly rekindled childhood memories. Most would refer to this little shop as "Cute" but it was more like "Cool as Heck". Discussed action figures and comic books with the clerk. Aside from a Chucky doll wearing a Florida Panther jersey and some old records, there was a vintage Coca Cola vending machine and a matching bench which instantly absorbed my attention, but sadly not for sale. Another conversation piece was the red english phone booth that was actually the dressing room (see video). An absolutely fun time browsing the vintage shop that earned a rare 5 star rating.

I enjoyed peeking through their large room and smaller back rooms of furniture, small appliances, household items, books, clothes, art, and accessories. They sell vintage and antique items with some modern things thrown in. My favorite area was the adorable kitchen room. You could practically see a grandma standing there baking a pie. If had enough space, I would have scooped up those sweet ceramic vegetable trinket boxes. Everything was actively arranged and clearly priced. Take your time and look closely. There are a lot of cool things to see and prices can be negotiated. The Flip Side has another store in Ft. Lauderdale on Cypress Creek Road in Ft. Lauderdale. It is right around the corner from the up and coming F.A.T Village Arts District. It's a family owned business so if you see something you want to haggle about you can speak directly to the owners. Sometimes they aren't there so just call before you come down. The two rooms of the store are filled with an eclectic mix of stuff like jewelry, instruments, clothing, home items, and collectibles. I was interested in the art but it was jammed so tightly in the shelf I couldn't really see it. I think the most unusual item I saw was a ship's porthole. I heard the owners son tell a customer that they had even more things in the back and to come again when his father was back from his fishing trip. If you are looking for something specific it is probably just best to ask them about it. I didn't find anything but I had fun looking. The wife who was working was very sweet. Inventory changes based on what they purchase so you can check in to see new things.
