In a world that seeks to take kids from parents, we needed to find a school we could partner with to guide our kids scholastically and spiritually without sacrificing the other fun stuff like sports and the arts. At Grace, we have found a home for all of our children. From basketball to painting, cross-country skiing to orchestra classes, Student Council to mission trips in Russia or Guatemala our kids are able to get more than just an education. We do believe 1 Corinthians 15:33 and that it does matter who is around your kids both as peers, teachers, and administrators. Students at Grace reached out and invited my kids in and made them feel welcome. That is tough for kids to do, but it is something many at the school step up and make a priority. Welcoming new students to the school and to their friend group. The school will not make your kids great alone, it takes a partnership with the family. Is the school perfect, no, but neither am I. Do the teachers and staff love the students? I think so. They are all there because they believe in the mission of guiding students scholastically and spiritually. Many former students return after college to continue to contribute to the mission by volunteering or working at the school, others bring their kids back to share in the same blessing they have had. Are there other options? Yes. Would I consider anywhere else? Not in Anchorage. This school is right for our kids and we all love this school and invite you to come and see why we do. They have personal tours they can take you and your kids on and also have days where students can shadow a peer and see what a day in the life at the school is like, which I think is the best option if you can.

They are always polite people and the quality of the food is great. I always get my food within an…read moreorderly time.

**How an Ohio Citizen Rizzed Me: An Essay**…read more I never thought I would become a firsthand witness to the legendary phenomenon known as *Ohio rizz*. Like many, I believed the jokes--Ohio as a mythical place where strange confidence spawns out of cornfields and gas stations. Yet one ordinary day, an Ohio citizen entered my life and absolutely rizzed me, changing my perspective forever. At first, there was nothing remarkable about him. He didn't arrive on a tractor or announce his Midwestern origins with a monologue about the Buckeyes. Instead, he carried himself with a calm, almost confusing confidence. This was the first sign of Ohio rizz: subtlety. While others try too hard, the Ohio citizen lets silence do some of the talking. He spoke like he already knew he belonged in the conversation, which immediately caught my attention. The second stage of being rizzed was the humor. Ohio humor is not loud or flashy; it sneaks up on you. One moment you're having a normal conversation, and the next you're laughing way harder than expected. His jokes were dry, oddly specific, and delivered with perfect timing. It felt less like he was trying to impress me and more like he was simply being himself--an energy that is dangerously effective. What truly sealed my fate was the unexpected sincerity. Ohio rizz thrives on authenticity. He listened--*actually* listened--and responded in a way that made me feel like my words mattered. In a world full of performative charm, this felt rare. The Ohio citizen didn't rush the moment or force a vibe. He let the connection marinate, like a slow Midwest sunset over a parking lot. By the end of the interaction, I realized what had happened. I had been rizzed--not loudly, not aggressively, but efficiently. Ohio rizz does not announce itself; it simply occurs, leaving you slightly confused, oddly impressed, and questioning your previous assumptions. In conclusion, being rizzed by an Ohio citizen is a quiet yet powerful experience. It blends confidence, humor, and sincerity into a surprisingly effective form of charm. I may never fully understand Ohio, but one thing is certain: the rizz is real, and I was not prepared.
