I recently booked a move-out cleaning and professional carpet cleaning with Merry Maids. While the…read morecleaning crew was punctual and did a good job with the priority list, the carpet cleaning service was a TOTAL FAILURE. We agreed to a 5:00 PM or after start time; however, by 6:30 PM, no one had arrived or contacted us. When we tried to call the office, the phone went unanswered and the voicemail was not set up. It wasn't until 7:30 PM--two and a half hours late--that we were finally informed the technician was over 100 miles away and wouldn't be coming at all. We explained our urgent "time crunch," as we had our realtor and her photographers and videographers scheduled for the following morning to list the home. While a refund was issued, it doesn't compensate for the lost time or the logistical headache. We sat in an empty house for hours for a service that was never going to happen. We also now have to waste even more hours finding a new company and driving back to the house to oversee a job that should have been finished days ago. To date, no manager has reached out to apologize. The refund is a bare minimum; the lack of professionalism and communication was deeply disappointing.

We had to walk thru and ask for additional things to be cleaned. When we spoke we were advised that the doors would be cleaned and trims, it was missed. We had to pull out the appliances to be cleaned behind it. A few cabinets were missed, there was still a drawer full of trash and the cabinet under the sink wasn't even touched. We had to remind them to clean the cabinets in the bathroom, clean the AC vents- when we asked we were advised those items would be cleaned. They also forgot a scrubber, which we found odd. Took the feedback well and stayed to clean, however we were not happy with the clean at all. Would not recommend for move out cleaning. The house smelled exactly the same from when the tenants left and it wasn't worth the price we paid.

Each day she encouraged followers to focus on certain areas of their home to organize, purge and declutter. With each challenge she provided great feedback on how to improve and take it further. We started with the bathroom cabinet. My turning tables were old, unstable and held too much weight. They also blocked products pushed to the back making it impossible to easily reach and find other items available.
