Almost all Kwik Star (and Kwik Trip if you're in Wisconsin or Minnesota) stores are laid out with a similar floor plan, there are a few different floor plans depending on the footprint of the store and when it was built. Some are mirror images of one another, which I refer to as left hand stores and right hand stores, depending on which way you turn to approach the cash registers. This is a left hand store. When you go into the store, you'll get that feeling of Deja vu, which is exactly what the owners want you to feel. This store is newer so it uses the newer floor plan. Karuba Coffee, Dunkers, doughnuts, and hot foods are straight back. Rest rooms are on the far end, take a right at the cooler. Lottery forms are back there, too, for processing at the registers. The no-fee ATMs are to your right as you enter the store. Out on the gas island, you'll find Unleaded, Unleaded Premium, E-85, Unleaded 88, and Diesel #2. There's also a car wash. The store is 24/7 but the car wash is only open 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more.

It is so common for people to be misled by the deceptive labeling that they have a relationship with a mechanic who routinely comes out to siphon gas out of diesel engines. They take no responsibility for their diesel labeling contributing to the problem. They could easily put a gas label on top of the pump next to the diesel label to alert people that the pump delivers both gas and diesel. They have zero concern for their customers and the potential for their mislabeling to ruin engines in very costly vehicles.

I have been down and out, and his kindness and compassion helped me see the light. He's able to do this all while efficiently making a positive impact on me as a customer, but able to continue to provide quality prompt care to all. One time, I even forgot my wallet. And he offered to pay for my items. There are angels here on earth, and if you're lucky enough to visit this Kwik star at night... you may just come face to face with one and his name is Ben! I never carry my wallet so I had my phone for Apple Pay but little did I know after ringing up everything the tap doesn't work on the self pay machines. I had to go to the associate who was unaware the tap pay wasn't working but a regular customer said that they haven't worked in a while. I would suggest putting a sign up because most people use tap to pay nowadays. I get to the register and my cashier didn't ring everything in the bag up I could've gotten away with $17 worth of items. I'm an honest person so I told him there was more in the bag. I would visit this store again but please fix the tap to pay on the self service registers.

Like all Kwik Trips, the bakery all comes from La Crosse and it's pretty good. If you happen to drive an 18-wheeler, there is a huge fueling station and certified scale. It's easy in and easy out with no silly roundabouts to come through. You'll find Diesel #2, Premium Diesel, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid. It's everything you've come to expect in a Kwik Trip and a whole lot more. By the way, Kwik Star has the best chocolate milk in Iowa!

The bathrooms are quite honestly beautiful... Most gas station bathrooms aren't very clean and we find ourselves asking, "Do we really want to stop here..?!" But this one is not the case.
