Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

These include a a range of locally-made ice creams, preserves, fruit juices and bakery products, as well as unusual cooking ingredients. (It's the first time I've seen black salt on sale.) There's a delicatessen counter and a large butchers within the shop - the latter doing a roaring trade on our visit. It's a bit pricey but it's the quality and local sourcing you're paying for. It's a perfect place to buy gifts for friends and family, if they like good produce. Staff and knowledgeable and friendly. There's a parking area at the front. Highly recommended.

I was on holiday in Holt. Parked in parent and child space as had my 3 year old daughter in the car…read moremy hubby and 2 friends. When we went to get out my daughter had fell asleep so hubby and friend said they would sit in the car with her while I went in. £100 parking ticket sent through post for not taking my daughter out of the car. She is 3 she was asleep and it was pouring with rain. No signage to state you physically have to produce a child to park there car park was empty apart from 3 or 4 other cars. I have appealed as this is just so unfair. I too will never use Budgens at Holt again for this reason.

This is a brilliant shop selling fresh fruit and vegetables, much of it locally sourced, directly from shelves around the shop. Just grab a basket and load up with whatever takes your fancy, locally grown spuds and brassicas seem a speciality and they often sell locally picked wild mushrooms too which are an absolute treat. The street displays of fruit and veg outside the shop are a real draw designed to entice you into the shop (it always works with me). Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

They also have a great selection of dry herbs and spices as well as a selection of vegetarian sausages and other products. They carry firewood which we ended up buying for the house as well.
