They also have some fresh fruit and veg as well as non frozen food items. As you'd imagine it's pretty vital to have a large freezer to store all these treats. There's a chiller to the right of the checkouts that has some short dates and odd food items that are unsellable. The curry cod fish kebabs were my favourite and surprisingly tasty. There's always a bit of a queue as people go mad and buy lots of things. It's the only supermarket in the area now Budgens closed down opposite.

They also sell fresh produce to along with cakes, crisps, and other bits. This store has never been that busy whenever i've been in there but they do not have that many staff around whenever i've been. Parking is a short walk away so if you have many bags then that can be problem. The store is well presented and clean and tidy.

waitrose is such a treat - certainly not somewhere i could affordto doa big shop, but if i am…read morehaving guests for dinner i do like to splash out. the great tihng about waitrose is its policies on healthy animals and foods. you know you are not buying tat - which is a relief considering the prices. they have a fantastic wine selection along with olive bar. inside, they also have a pharmacy which stays open fairly late - tihs has been a god send on many an occasion, usually a friday or saturday night when i have forgot to get a prescription. its not too busy, and the staff are friendly, you get through checkouts fairly quickly. the car park is great with plenty of spaces.
