I engaged thinkvisa for my PR application with options of either the 801/820 or 189/190. I had started this application over a year prior to my visa expiry and yet I now have to extend my temporary visa for another year before applying for my PR for the third time. I was initially told sweet words about having a 'strong profile' but they messed up the application because they did not know the clauses within the application, resulting in botched applications, twice. Their response was to extend my current temporary visa with another temporary one and then reapplying for another PR application round. They would favour squeezing more money out of clients than for the wellbeing of them. The case was also tossed between different staff all the time, having to contact multiple numbers to obtain a response or update which only speaks of the structure and staff turnover rate going on within. From start to finish I was handed over from 5 different persons. There were also unprofessional handling of cases and client interactions. Thinkvisa had insisted on an email termination process when I wanted to verbally speak about the situation to a supervisor. I commissioned Think Visa in 2020 to get my partner a Visa. It was not going to be straightforward as I had previously advise from a immigration lawyer, but with diligence and correct submissions it could of been granted. Nearly 3 years and I had 5 or 6 different people handling my case, the constant turn over of staff was a red flag. They didn't thoroughly examine the law and provide submissions that I asked them to make after I examined the immigration regulations. SCAM!!! SCAM!!! SCAM!!! This company is absolutely horrible without any principles at all.Me and my partner consulted them about the defacto partner visa and We talked to Calvin the first time and he not only gave us incorrect legal advice,but he said we cannot apply for a defacto partner visa unless we are living in Victoria or New South Wales and told us, that our only option was to GET MARRIED!! which is a white lie. Not only that he said to us that the fees was $500 but then he sent through a contract and said it was $5000. Calvin was very rude to us over the phone and treated us like idiots and tried to make us feel bad for not having enough VISA information which we contacted them for in the first place. Just 20 people sitting in an unpainted office trying to scam as many people as possible. We spoke to the CEO Richard, who made excuses for all of Calvins lies and was extremely rude. The most dishonest and money hungry firm I have ever encountered. I found them online where they offered visa advice for one hundred dollars. After entering their office and sitting for an interview, I was harangued for an hour to get out my mastercard and pay them $6,500, so they could proceed to assist my fiancé into Australia. I explained I was not ready, only to be told that if I did not act on that day there was no chance of my ever being able to bring her here. I was told by a so called lawyer that the laws were changing any moment and it would be all over. At no time would this guy take no for an answer. I explained that I was suffering from stage four chronic kidney failure, and could not take this kind of pressure. I also told him that I had not known my partner for the required 12 months. He was shoving paper after paper under my nose, demanding I sign. Needless to say, he finally convinced me to part with 6,500 dollars which I regret to this day. They refuse any refund, denying culpability. They are nothing more than aggressive car salesmen. Enter their doors at your own risk.
