The service technician showed up right on time. I showed him what needed to be done (outdoor 120V panel removed and replaced with 240V service panel for the hot tub) and I got a firm upfront price (parts and labor) straight out of his service binder. No surprises. Since he was already here, I showed him another minor job I had been putting off (replacing the security light high ankle my garage). Again he gave me a firm price (labor only) or if his binder. I would supply the security light myself. So while he ran to the store to get the parts to replace the 120V panel, zi went to Lowe's to pick out and purchase the security light I wanted (motion-activated). When I returned home 30 minutes later, he was already working on the panel outside. I gave him the security light and he was done with everything in about 20 minutes. My elderly parents have been without water now for 4 months because Bassett will not return their…read morecalls or come back out to do the work my parents have already paid for! My dad gave them $6,000 to clear a clogged pipe under the kitchen floor. They were out multiple times in the first week, but they did not want to do the work, they just sat in the back yard and sent a camera under the house to see where the issue was. They also brought broken equipment to do the jetting, which accidently slipped out of the new kid's mouth that they brought with them. Raekwon Cunningham didn't even want to tell us the jet was broken. He forced my dad to pay right then and there for the work, my dad didn't even get to ask any questions or see if they completed the job. they said that they would be back tomorrow to finish the job and he left. They did come back but they didn't do anything again. They kept leaving and coming back saying they had to go get parts. They came back one more time saying that they needed more money to do the job and my parents refused and they have never been back and they haven't returned our calls either. The owner said they did the work and to do the unclogging it would be thousands more. He is refusing to say they failed to complete the job and he will not give any of my parents' money back. I have checked with 4 other plumbing companies now and they said it only costs $1,000 to run and camera and jet a pipe. Bassett got $6,000 to do it! They are a complete scam of a company! My poor parents have been getting their water from Walmart grocery delivery since June 6th now, I have 5 gallons and a case of water delivered their every week for them to have water. To wash their dishes, they have to take it to the shower to clean them. It's been a ridiculous scam with them. I would never use Bassett for anything! They will take your money and ghost you!
