I wish I would have known about them sooner, which is why I'm writing a review, so I hope others can find them. It's a couple who have been working together for many years. They communicate well to determine what you want, and the salon is stylish and fun. They make sure you are comfortable and spend plenty of time with you. I got a cut and a color. I was excited to visit a new salon, so I bought a BuyClub deal (129 CHF + additional 50 CHF on site) to try Mr. Fani's business for the first time. I showed him a photo of the color I wanted and explained exactly my hair type and the NATURAL highlighted look I wanted to achieve. Photos speak louder than words, so take a look at the images below to understand how it all went wrong. Before I left, I stated multiple times that the highlights were too bleached blond and the harsh contrast to my brunette hair wasn't to my liking. He insisted that it wasn't too light and that he had done exactly as the photo I showed. After 24 hours, I only felt worse, so I called Mr. Fani to ask for my overly bleached blond highlights to be corrected and darkened. Mr. Fani proceeded to tell me that I was wrong, he was right, and that with his vast experience, the color was fine. The question isn't about how much experience Mr. Fani has, it's about what the client ordered. If I went to the best, most experienced baker in the world and ordered a simple chocolate cake, and he gave me a vanilla mousse, even if it was a delicious mousse, it's not what I ordered nor wanted. Mr. Fani continued to insist that he didn't make any mistakes, but that if I wanted my hair color corrected, I would have to pay again. I was calm, clear, and courteous over the phone. I was giving him an opportunity to redeem himself and act professionally. For the sake of his ego and greed, Mr. Fani lost a potential loyal client and everyone in my network. Don't make the same mistake I did. There are many other better salons and stylists in Geneva.

It met my satisfaction compared to other local salons. Right there, I walked in and noticed there was only a slot available on that day. It was available in the next hour - lucky me! When I came in for the cut, a very nice and thoughtful salon lady, Nejma, was satisfied with a photo of a particular hairstyle I always carried in my iPhone. My goodness, she certainly is not only an expert but also an artist to the point she understood both strengths and weaknesses of my hair. Nejma, without reservations and all hands down, is one of the best among all others over years of traveling.
