Better known in my household as 'The Antique Man', the guy who runs this corner junk shop is great....he often comes out for a little chat when I'm browsing, but not in an obtrusive or pushy way. I am a self-professed second-hand queen- I love rooting around through old chests of bric-a-brac and I equally enjoy hearing the tales of where various items have been rescued from. The selection of furniture is always quirky and reflective of Brighton's eclectic population - I've seen some really interesting 60s cabinets and light fittings there as well as more rudimentary items such as a clothes horse and shelving units. When I need something home-ware wise, I always check with the Antique Man first! read more
