They were cheerful and funny and made a stressful situation a lot easier. The results exceeded my expectations. The final product was beautiful. I especially appreciated their moving heavy furniture pieces that I would not have been able to do myself. I hope I don't need their services anytime soon but if I do I won't hesitate to call them again. Thank You, Dell' Aquila Plastering.

My wife and I purchased a new home in early January '19 and we knew that the first order of…read morebusiness was fresh paint on every wall and ceiling throughout the home. I had no idea where to start, so I consulted some contractor friends, and strangely enough Dan de Priest's name kept coming up. As it turned out, there was very good reason for all the recommendations. When Dan and I first met, I knew I was dealing with a guy who embodies that old-school Pittsburgh honesty and integrity. There's something to be said about a tradesmen who stands by his word, and it became clear that Dan is one of the few guys left who honestly takes pride in his work and is satisfied more by a job well done than the money for which he works so hard to earn. Throughout the process of the job, Dan and his crew were courteous, professional and maintained regular communication. In fact, there were a few unforeseen challenges left behind by previous painters of lesser caliber that resulted in slight changes of course and we were always consulted before any action was taken. Even though these hidden issues caused more work and time for his crew, he honored his original quote. No matter the challenge, Dan knew how to make it right. As I mentioned, Dan took the job in January and he only had 12 days to complete the entire project. Even when schools and businesses were closed due to a snow storm and roads were practically impassable, those guys were here every day until the work was finished. The end result is spectacular. Our 20 year old home looks brand new - the walls are pristine and the lines on every corner and edge are razor sharp. Again, they're true professionals in every way. I can't recommend Daniel De Priest highly enough. He's trustworthy, highly detail oriented, fair, and he stands behind his work. You will not regret hiring these guys. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair. I almost don't want to tell everyone how good they are because then they'll become too busy, ha! They truly deserve your business.
