Based on the tags I saw like the ones from Macy's, it seems to be overstocks. This is the kind of place you want to enjoy exploring with you girlfriend or daughter. If you have that certain outfit that needs the finishing touch, you can find the perfect statement piece inexpensively. The many times I was there, I have only seen her as a delight, a professional and so very helpful and kind to all other customers. We were not planning on buying a puppy but our whole family fell in love with a bishapoo. Our hotel was not pet friendly, so the store held her for us. We were able to visit and take her for many hours during the day for the rest of our trip (upwards of a week). Before buying the puppy, I read every review on here and also had my local family call around to see what they knew about Diamonds and Doggies. It seems most of the poor reviews are people who haven't actually purchased a pet or are just against the concept altogether. Putting a pet shop in a crowded, well trafficked area doesn't equate to "puppy mill" like some of the reviews said, it's just smart. Who wants to put a business in a dead area with no shoppers? I looked in every cage and they were all clean and the puppies themselves are well kept and clean. The puppies are also clearly very happy. Breeder and health information is provided, and you take the dog to their vet to be checked out. Their vet of choice is part of a chain with a well known reputation, and is not just the vet, there's a cute doggie daycare attached to it. Coming and going from the store, we got to see a lot of different employees, and all of them were friendly and helpful. There was no pressure to buy the dog, and all questions we had were answered. We worked with Karen and Cece mostly and both are amazing. We had a great experience.
