Most recently I hired Nelys Landscaping to build a patio in my backyard, and I couldn't be happier with the result. David and his team are kind, patient, hard-working, and professional. They also finished the project on time and on budget, and they cleaned up everything after they were done. I highly recommend Nelys Landscaping to anyone who needs a reliable and affordable landscaping service. They are the best in the area!

Barry came out this Spring to help me make sense of a muddy unused part of our garden and he filled it with beautiful shade loving plants, ground cover and large stepping stones. He has an amazing knowledge of horticulture and design- I did not have the least idea of what to do in that area. It's so pretty now it's my favorite spot! We were so happy with the work we decided to do a little more sprucing up before winter. Barry and his team re-set our brick driveway and path that had seen better days (original brickwork was done by another firm). They also removed some overgrown and dead trees, planted some lovely new ones, added sod and mulch and my garden looks presentable once more. This winter we will definitely be thinking of more projects for the CB Conlin team to do in the Spring!

I was able to do everything from getting a quote to paying the invoice online! No phone calls, no voicemail, no checks. Amazing! And they did a beautiful job. The only hiccup was I had to reach out to get a date when I didn't hear anything for a few weeks, but they had said it might be a few weeks and they were out the day after I asked. I will definitely use them again for big projects we don't want to tackle.

Accepted their offer, never got communication on when they were coming, some guys just showed up one day and started the spring cleanup. About halfway done, they told me it was going to be twice the cleanup and almost twice the mulch needed to complete the job, and the entire job would be 35% higher than they originally estimated. I didn't enjoy being given one price, then being given a higher price once the work started. I ended up letting another company do the mulch installation and edging. They did a good job with the spring cleanup, but ended up paying 55% more for the spring cleanup than what I was originally quoted. I gave them the opportunity to finish the job if they matched their competitors price, but they couldn't do it.

Then a few years later in 2015, we had them tackle the side beds and our front yard landscaping. Same story, but it included super creative uses of what we had planted ourselves back in 2009. It wasn't that we had planted a lot or that we were tied to it, but it was appreciated that they reused the daylillies and hostas along the side of the house to avoud having to throw anything away. We also used Semper Fi for a mulch delivery in 2016, but after spreading 9 yards of mulch myself we decided not to do that again. Today we just got home after our Semper Fi performed our latest spring bed clean up and mulch spreading and it's a brand new yard all over again. We couldn't be happier with the personal service and attitude of the folks at Semper Fi and recommend them at every opportunity. Thanks to Robert, Frannie, Tina, and the rest of the family! They damaged my deck and grill when they lost control of part of the branch and it fell to the deck. When we reported this to the office, they lied and said they did NOT damage anything. We have the pictures. Hugo came to inspect, he said "they made a mistake". After much rude discussion, he agreed to send someone to repair the deck. It's been weeks and NOTHING has been done! He is NOT returning phone calls or text messages. He is refusing to replace the broken part of the grill! Stay away from this company!!

I knew when I hired Arun that he'd charge me more than most other companies. I hired him 9 yrs ago…read moreand have since hired many others who were cheaper. I saved money with the others; however, I also never got the attention to detail that I wanted. I was always disappointed with the end result. After neglecting my landscaping all summer, there was a lot of work to do to prepare for winter. Deadheading a ton of plants, cutting Ivy back from my house and trees, trimming tree branches away from my house, shaping my boxwoods, and removing tons of leaves because I live in an established neighborhood filled with huge trees... it was way more work than I have the capacity to do. Arun gave me an estimate of $1700. I knew it would be high, but it was even higher than expected. I considered going back to one of my previous landscapers, but ultimately, I wanted my property to be done exactly as I wanted it. I didn't want the snow to melt in the spring and be faced with landscaping that still needed more work. My yard looks amazing. It was everything I wanted it to be. Yes, it cost more, but I got what I paid for

We had Bautista Landscaping redo our walkway pavers in the front as well as our porch and our patio…read morein the backyard a year ago. They are very hard to get a hold of and don't show up when they say they will. A job that was supposed to take 3-4 days per their quote took 4 weeks because they showed up only when they felt like it or if you hounded them. When they did show up it was only for a couple of hours. They trampled the flowers even though it was brought to their attention several times. Fast forward a year later. The first row of pavers as you step onto the porch had come unglued. I called the owner and he said he would stop by the next day. Next day came and went and so did 4 others. I texted again and was told since I didn't remind him he forgot. He then said he would be there on Saturday-mind you this is Monday. He showed up with his wife around 8pm and said she would be back on Monday to fix the issue. The issue involved a bit of glue and 1 cup of locking sand-at the most a 15 minute fix. Eight days go by with me reminding him every day about fixing the 6 pavers and not one word. I told him I would be writing negative reviews and he said he would be there the next day-guess what- never showed up. I cannot stress enough how bad this company is- you should not have to go to these lengths to get warranty work fixed and still a no show!! The only reason for 1 star is you can't give zero.
