They have always been slow and not very courteous. This was my experience yesterday. Prescriptions were called in at 4pm. Went to pick it up at 5:30. Was told they would be ready at 7. Showed up at 7, like we were told to do, only to find out pharmacy hours are 9-7. So the Pharmacy was closed. Finally received a notification at 10am the next day that medications were ready. I'm tired of being treated like livestock by this pharmacy. Will be giving CVS a try instead, although it is several miles out of my way. Update: Showed up to pick up medications only to find out that two out of three were not even filled. Something about insurance not covering them, so the pharmacist sent them back. 48 hours later, still no medications. Last time I will be using Walgreens pharmacy. This is absolutely ridiculous.can't treat symptoms without the medication, wasn't even given an option to pay out of pocket. Only option this pharmacy left me is the Emergency Room to address any symptoms. Last place I want to be in this Era of Covid.

They individually squeezed the small tubes in the tub for me, no charge, just to make me, a client who doesn't even use them normally, happy. I can actually see where they squeezed it for me. I was told that I needed to search around for other pharmacies that currently have the "I pledge" agreement in place in order to get the last month of medication that we need. Further, that they didn't have knowledge of what other pharmacies that might have it, but I was given the standard answer of check with Walgreens or CVS. Red Flag #1. Next, I was told that they didn't have TIME to re-enact the I-pledge agreement because they were on hold for too long and that it really wasn't their problem. What?! Red Flag #2. Thirdly, regarding a question about Covid-19 home test kits they claimed that they do not want to carry OTC Covid 19 tests because they thought they were too expensive at $50, and, therefore, they just didn't want to go to the trouble. Red Flag #3. In summation, there was no heads up for my family that we would need to find a new pharmacy for this specific drug that we've been getting from them for the last 5 months. That they are too stupid and/or lazy to remedy the problem. Covid-19 precautions are too much of a hassle for them, and they feel they have no moral, or business ethical reason to take responsibility for anything, saying, "it's not our problem." This is undeniably the lousiest pharmacy and drive up ever in our lives. I had occasion to be waiting in line indoors at the window for 20 minutes one evening and got to hear closeup first hand Walgreen traffic handling manners... their manners for the driveup customers... it was ugly and insensitive, the woman at the window should be out cleaning septic tanks, and the customer service sequence should be shown as a bad example in Marketing 101. Meanwhile the clerks trying to find scripts to hand out didn't have a clue where to look because they were never in the same place... it was a mad house... and it WASN'T real busy. UNORGANIZED. NO TALENT. Wonder what the employee turn over is, that should be a clue to somebody. Time to leave. They need a professional hatchet man to clean that place out top to bottom. An organizer to go in there and organize that place, it is a mess. What woke me up to quit Walgreens... when I was accused of being rude to their help over the phone.... when I was simply asking if 4 hours isn't long enough to pop 14 pills in a bottle, when should I return... they said they didn't care when I returned... and then when I returned, some she jerk gets on the speaker box and thought she was going to realign my butt instead of apologizing... thank you God for the 40 years of military training so I could demonstrate problem solving skills that I had learned, except for my limited vocabulary; but therer was sufficient volume so all nearby could benefit from the learning experience.
